They used the square steps corner pocket punch. It's found on pg. 222 of the SU catty.

I know that. And I have the punch. But I still need help. I told you I'm kind of slow...

First, take the plastic guide off of the punch (it's the thing that forces you to put the corner of teh paper in, and if you just pull a bit on the sides it will come unhooked and you can slide it off).

Once the guide is off, you can put straight pieces of paper in there and punch. If you punch a stright piece of paper in a row, you will get that nice border.

I hope this helps... it's kind of confusing to explain, and I'm not sure I've done a very good job. :?

Julie I don't have that punch.. but, I think you slide the corner guide piece out, that way the paper goes in the punch straight :?

Also...I've found, once you have punched the first one you need to line the outer left edge of the puch to match the middle of the oe you just did...line it up with the highest peak.

Cool Cool cool! I was wondering the same thing! I can't wait to try it. I will have to get my corner punches back from my neighbor ASAP

o wow!

(insert humble priestess abasing herself in front of great goddess emoticon here)

I am a genius and I did not know this
I am awed and humbled by the knowledge you have gifted us with!
thank you!
I ran to check my wrought iron corner and it comes off!(pre SU!)
dot dot dot
ooohh! pretty! a nice, loopy heart, embellished frame
my precious!
do you know if the fiskars punch base comes off - I have the victorian slot corner (pre SU!)
and, although I cannot even wrap my brain around if this would make a border that is desirable or attractive....
I have been inserting a screwdriver into the inbetween for more than five minutes...
so far no pop
I'm so scared that I'll injure it!
help! please advise

I have been looking for a punch like this FOREVER!! All I could ever find was the corner punch. I thought it was one of those long edge punches!

Man, Julie, I wish you had asked this ages ago! Thanks for asking and thanks for answering!
