I made each teacher a set of personalize note cards. The themes are something they like, such as lattes for my son's teacher who is a self professed coffee addict. They also incorporate their monogram somewhere on them to make it more personal.

I have quite a few done, but I'm hoping to finish up the last few this week.

I'll bet she's enjoying the break, but as for 'nutty'---I seriously doubt that--he's such a cutie!!!

one year, a student's mom gave me a cute harvest looking tin bucket filled with different kinds of microwave popcorn, a big hershey's chocolate bar, hot tamales, and gift certificates to blockbuster and hollywood video. (she really wanted me to enjoy my time away from her little terror . . . LOL!!)

Did you use first initial or last? Our teachers are called by their first names (i.e. Miss Mary). I never know which letter to use.
