Default Tag Question & Help, Suggestions

I want to make a card with an image stamped on three tags and the tags going across the card. I want to do this for a stamp camp. Does anyone know where I can buy tags in bulk?? I could by the SU! but I would have to buy three packages just to use six of the tags on each page. Has anyone made a card like this? Does anyone have any ideas??
TIA

Maybe you could try a tag punch. That way you could have any color paper you want & won't be limited to the colors in the tag assortment.

Default tag suggestions

I know this is probably not what you wanted to hear, but my suggestion for tags in bulk is to buy a sizzix machine and get their tag die cut. Yes it is expensive right now, but you can forever make your own tags in whatever SU colors you want. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestion. I think my downline has this, so I could maybe borrow hers. Never thought of that!!!

Sibylle, I have been debating on buying one of these (sizzix) and our local CS is offering a 50% off coupon that I can use on one item... so my question to you is Which one would you (or anyone else) suggest I purchase?
Thanks for your help..

If you don't want the big $ investment of sizzix, you could get the coluzzle tag template. I have it and it is easy to use. If you are doing this for stamp camp, you could even have the ladies learn to use the coluzzle and make their own tags first.

I do have the template, but I will be the first to admit, I'm lazy, would rather put a piece of paper into a machine and pull the handle and have something "pop" out at me then to have to sit a cut something out, besides I flunked that part of grade school, the teacher said  my lines were crooked...

Default Coluzzle

Actually, I have the coluzzle tags and don't like them so much. We used them at the last stamp camp and that really slowed everyone down. I now leaning towards the sizzix or the super huge punch.[/i]

You didn't say if you required colored cardstock. If not, you can pick up packs of 100 white tags (scalloped top, inventory and metal rimmed) at Walmart or Office Max/Depot. You can always sponge them to enhance to the project color.
