Ok here goes, I went to a TAC stamp thing and had fun and purchased for the first time some stamps from them. On the 14th of August and wrote a check. It cleared my bank on the 19th. Yesterday I emailed her and asked when all my fun toys would be coming. She said she just put the order in that day. 19 days after I wrote a check and it would be another 2 weeks before my things came in. Is this normal? Do other demos wait over 2 weeks to put in an order and do you cash their checks? Also does TAC really take 2 weeks to ship? I am so spoiled with SU!
Aloha Amanda! That's really crummy of her to wait that long to place your order...I've never ordered from TAC, but as a SU! Demonstrator I know I would NEVER wait that long to place an order! Just wanted to offer you some sympathy!
By the way...where are you in Hawaii? I'm on the Big Island.

My friend is a TAC demo, and everything I've ordered from her I have had in my hands inside of two weeks after I order, many times it is only a week. She always orders right away, never waits for my check to clear. Maybe because we are friends and she knows my checks are good. Your situation sounds unusual. I am not a demo, but I couldn't imagine not ordering stuff for a customer ASAP! Hope your stuff arrives soon!
I placed my Order on Monday and recieved my TAC stamps TODAY!!!!!!! Talk about turn around time. I can't speak for Hawaii, but I think the ship times are comparable between the two companies based on my experience. Keep your chin up. I am sure they will arrive quickly.

I usually place my orders right away. The only time I wait is if my hostess needs to get more orders or take time deciding on her own. You can ask what took so long. I would be bugged, too, if my order was delayed like that. Usually my orders arrive 7 business days after I submit them because I live off the beaten path.

I'm sorry about your experience!! It sounds like your demo was trying to close out a workshop BUT!! she really should have let everyone know up front. I know that when I order something, I want it right away!
The good news is that TAC is shipping quickly and hopefully you will be happy with your purchase. Let her know you were unhappy...I hope she has a "I'm sorry" about your wait gift for you. In fact, TAC always includes a little stamp set when they ship an order minus an item...when the item comes later they have a present tucked inside! This always makes it worth your while! ;o)
Wow, so sorry about that! Everytime I have ordered from TAC, I get it within 4-5 days tops. In my experience they have been very affordable, fast, and top notch quality rubber.
I'm in Hawaii too and I had a similar experience with TAC. I placed an order with a local demo and it took a month from the time I placed the order to get my stamps. I wasn't that thrilled about it. I recall asking the demo about it and I believe that I didn't get a satisfactory answer and I haven't ordered since. They have some really cute stuff and great quality and they are UM stamps which is a great plus but I'm just not that patient.
I'm a SU demo and all my orders arrive within 3 - 5 days of shipping and nothing has ever taken more than a week. So, I'm just as perplexed as to why it took so long to get here.
