Default Swap Question

When you participate in a swap, do you identify your cards as yours in some way? For example, a label on the back of the card with your name? I'd like to get credit for my work and also, if someone has a question about the technique I used, they could contact me? Any thoughts or comments? TIA

When I participate in swaps I have a label on the back that includes:

My name, email address, card recipe (all supplies it took to make the card), swap name and date.

Hope this helps you some

Yes, put your name on the back... and if you're swapping card fronts, put the recipe on the back. If you're swapping full cards, I wouldn't put the recipe on the back, but include a slip of paper with the recipe. But definitely put your name!

THANKS! I wasn't sure if it was a proper thing to do... I'll definitely include the info on a label now on the back of the card front.

THANKS AGAIN!

Hi!
This is what i put:

Name:
aka: my Splitcoast secret identity
Stamps:
Paper:
Ink:
Accessories:

I print then up on little sticky labels.
It is good to put your splitcoast name.
I have wanted to thank people for their cards, but was unable to due to not knowing their SCS name.

I print out all my info on a label via the computer and then put it on a post-it note and then stick the post-it to the back of the card...

I would highly suggest this to anyone participating in swaps - having been a host a few times it can become a pain with just the little slips of paper in each card because they have a tendancy of flying out while trying to sort...

Unless you are participating in a technique swap or a card front swap where people are going to use them for demo purposes only I would not permantly attach a label to the card because people want to be able to use them and I know if I can't get a stuck on label off the back of the card then I can't use it...

Default swaps

I like the idea of using post its because if a person wants to use the card, they can do so. If you put a permanent label on it, it cannot be used except as demos.

I have participated in several swaps. Some do not even identify anything much less their name.

I would like to suggest that the person who heads up the swap post the entries together in the gallery w/the swapees permission of course. this way everyone could see the swaps. Just a suggestion.
