I love this idea! I live in PA now but I was born and raised in CT and my whole family is still there.... my 2 favorite things in one place, stamping & family!

Yeah, that would be fun. The cruise would be awesome, but we're kinda into "family vacation" mode time of our lives right now, so a weekend might just fit in perfectly!

Joan, This is such a fabulous idea!! I fell in love with stamping partly because of the creative aspect, but mostly because of the get togethers I would have to vote for Florida! One because I would get to meet Jan Marie, Nancy and Sharon of Flourishes , and two because it's warm!! I am so not a winter person. I often wonder why I live in New Hampshire.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I personally think Halifax would be the perfect place for this.

I was about to put my vote in for Phoenix until I saw Hawaii...either one has my vote. Joan, I'll pick you up on the way to VA Beach if that's the final answer =)

That got me thinking!!

I'm not into scrapbooking, so I'm encouraging all stamp/papercraft companies to consider hosting weekend retreats for customers (not just demos). Large companies have the resources to manage this, but smaller companies would need to band together like Gina K, Papertrey and Stamping Bella are doing with their cruise.

A week long cruise is out of the range money wise and/or time wise for most of us, but a weekend might work.

May I humbly start the ball rolling by suggesting a few of my faves -- in addition to our cruise companies: Lockhart Stamps, Impression Obsession and Cornish Heritage Farms.

I am willing to accept free registration and air fare for coming up with this suggestion.
Maybe a good place and time would be at a stamp convention/show. Stamp companies might be more willing to be involved with a retreat held during a convention/show.

Could be a win/win/win for all concerned (stamp company or companies, attendees, and the convention sponsor).

Great idea everyone. How about the Amish country in PA? Hubby and I went to Impression Obsession during a warehouse sale that Mitra had, and she is WONDERFUL! What fun we would have! She has some great ideas and is soooo willing to share.
