Default SU used to sell Ancient page ink pads????

I've now seen this twice, on ebay and here on the FSOT forum. How was the ancient page ink pads used. I just bought a black pad (needed something in a hurry) and randomly bought it. What is so special about this brand??

Thanks

It was supposed to be bleed proof when used with liquids such as in watercolouring. I never used it, but that's what I've been told.

Ancient page is the old style staz-on/craft ink.

They are archival and PERMANENT!.... Yes I stress that as I had a three year old with Really Rust on his hands for OVER a week!

He zigged I zagged and the ENTIRE hand in the pad! Even the PED asked me about the hand when I had sissy in for an infant well check!!!

If you use Ancient page on POly SHrink it works fine you jsut ahve to sand the poly first - were as staz-on is a stamp and go!

I have several and use mine quite a bit - why buy new craft pads when I have the ancients in those colors - so until they dry up - I'm using what I have!

Smiles
