SU has quarterly sales limits. There is only one official level for demonstrators. We mostly refer to ourselves as hobby demo, discount demo or business demo. We all get the same discount, are eligible for preorders, etc.

Default SU Hobby Demo

Mary, SU supports the hobby demonstrator just as well as the career demonstrator. You only have to submit $300 in sales per quarter. Also, you can submit your sales in any increment you wish and still get your discount and commission. SU offers alot of benefits, incentives, and resources to demonstrators. Also SCS is excellent place for inspiration and resources. You can stop at anytime you choose. You simply just stop putting in your minimum sales & keep everything that came in your kit. I'm signing up soon Lolita

A couple other things to note, your $300 in sales is merchandise total. If you are your own best customer, even though you order $300 worth of stuff over the course of 3 months, you still get to take your 20% commision off the $300 so it ends up being a savings for you in addition to getting to participate in preorders, sneak peeks, and the other support and resources. And as long as you make your minimum during the 3 months, it doesn't matter if you did it all the first day, the last day, or scattered throughout the months. Good luck! Oh yeah, and if you are thinking of signing up, there are incentives if you sign up during SAB starting Feb 1.

Plus, as one of my downline can tell you, sometimes you PLAN to be a hobby, then customers start gravitating to you! LOL

Every demo gets the same benefits and opportunities, no matter what kind of demo we classify ourselves as.

I have to ask this one because reading this made me starting "Hmm...maybe I should consider it..."

Are there tax implications to being a "hobby demonstrator"? Meaning that if I am my own customer or perhaps I sell to my friend (without making profit), do I still have to file taxes on "sales"?

Nope. If you claim a "loss" for 3 years in a row, your a hobbyist!
