Default SU Cases

I have all my sets organized now and it just really annoys me that some of the cases are so large after mounting. I have been told my demo can add cases to her supply order, but how can I tell what each size is? I could find no markings on the cases. I assume there is a finite number of sizes. If some could help me figure it out? I would appreciate it.

I believe there is x-large w/ dividers (for alphabet stamps), there is large, medium and small. The x-large measures 6x9, large 6x7, medium 5.5x6, and small 4x5. My Cheery chat came in the largest one I have ever seen and I don't know if it is a size demos can order, 6x11. But I will double check for you and see what the website says. I hope this answers your question.

Some of the boxes these sets come in are ridiculous. They are WAY to big for the stamps in the set. I hope someday they get them to where they "just" fit in the box so they don't rattle around!!

The All Year Chear sets are definitely in boxes that are too big. When I transfered my alpha sets to the new channel boxes I was able to fit the All Year Chear sets in their boxes. Much more convenient storage.

Does anyone know how much the extra cases cost?
I love having a larger size. I usually organize my stamps by theme and not by sets.

TIA,
Elizabeth

They come in sets of 6 and are less than $2 each. The actual price would depend on the size of the box and the tax rate in your area...

Default Tip for the day

Someones SAM sent an email telling a wonderful tip. I haven't tried it yet but it sounds great. Take the new alphabet stamp cases and use them as dividers for your small cartridges. The fit perfect. Found the email hang on.....
Following is a tip that was sent in by Kristi Stoughtman of Hudson, New Hampshire.
“I have a tip to share that did not originate with me, but it is such a fabulous idea that I have to share it! Lori Snider of Vincennes, Indiana gave me the idea of using the new alphabet boxes to store my ink cartridges. They fit perfectly! You can fit 18 regular-sized cartridges in a box, and they stay put! (You can also use the alphabet boxes to store the sponge daubers, which is perfect if you have one for each color! It makes it easy to find the one you're looking for.)?

“I found that when I put my cartridges in the box I couldn't see what colors they are, so I made a template file that will print all the color names on a sheet of sticky address labels (Avery #8160 copier labels). Then I just take my new 1/2" circle punch and punch out the names. I put a dot of color next to each name, using my markers, and put each label on the cartridge so that the name and color shows. It sure helps me to organize my cartridges!?

Thanks Heather!
I'm going to have to order some of those plastic cases. Some are my stamps aren't in cases and they are starting to feel a little bit lonely. lol.

I recently got a bunch of the new alphabet cases from my demo to put my older bought alphabets in but I bought a few extra and found that my minimates and another set I have fit in the alphabet boxes perfectly (use the same size block as the alphabets) - I then moved some other sets around so they weren't in the larger boxes.

I have some empty large boxes that I use to store things - one I have my Staz-on pads (so they lay flat and if they leak then they are contained), another I use for odds and ends.

I have used some of my left over SU boxes for my cookie cutters. I got tired of them being all over the drawer.
