I got this idea from someone else here on SCS (sorry, I don't remember who). She said she stores them in the 3 ring binder sleeves that are used for baseball cards. I put all my $1 stamps, still on the plastic sheets, in the sleeves and it works great!! They now have their own binder & are easily accessible. HTH

I keep mine in a binder, in trading card page protectors - just the perfect size for one set per 'pocket'

I put all of mine in cd cases. Specifically the HP classic cd cases from Wal-Mart.

Great idea on the card sleeves! That might work better for me as I tried the CD cases and didn't like it - I had to separate sets to get more than two sets per case and then the cases seemed empty.
I just wish I could find a place locally that would sell me just a few of the protector sheets. I can only find large packages and I don't need that many.

I have almost all of them in all series. I put them in cd cases in different categories. For instance, all the baby stamps in one case, the flowers in another, the sentiments in another, etc. I used to store them in the baseball card holders in 3 ring binders but it was a pain to take them in and out. This way seems alot easier. Hope that helps!

This is exactly what I do. I don't consider the $1 stamps "sets" so it's very easy to sort them out into categories and I find that I can actually find and USE them this way. Plus, since they're in CD cases, they're now with all of my other clear stamps.

I use the baseball card size page protector sleeves, too. You can get them at Office Depot in a pack of 10 sheets for not too much money, I don't remember exactly how much, lol.

That's what I do! I sorted/grouped them based upon their category and put them into CD cases. I have about 5 CD cases of stamps that are just mixed together and a general spine label to indicate what is inside.

Yeppers! I use my handy dandy label maker and label general theme names on them. This really works for me as I just finished unmounting all my stamp sets.

I just posted on another thread about how I store my acrylic stamps, including my $1 stamps. I sort them into categories and then put them on white cardstock covered with a transparancy (so they can cling on). I put them in a photobox with my blocks. I covered the chipboard dividers with PP. I found that if I have to look into many places for my stamps I forget I have them so this way they are all in one place. Check my post on this thread for pictures: http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...=310119&page=2

I store all of my unmounted stamps in a binder, and I separated them into categories - makes it easier for me to see what I actually have! I stuck them to transparency sheets that I got from an office supply store. I put a piece of regular office paper between each transparency, so the stamps behind wouldn't stick to the back of the transparency sheet in front. Then I made coloured dividers for each category - christmas, halloween, winter, birthday, thank you, flowers, etc. Takes up very little space it is nice to see all of one type all at once.

For my wood block stamps from Mikes I store them in the SU cases that BG stamps come in since I stand them upright instead of a case. I also like others use a label maker for id'ing the theme on the end of the case

cd case for me. I think I have about 20 or so now! When I get new $ clear stamps, I stamp the image onto a piece of white cs that I slide on the left side of the cd case so I know what is in each one. I end up with more cases this way - but it works for me. oh then I scan the white cs, print and put into my stamp binder so it is updated.

Really? I can fit 4-6 sets per case! Do you stick them on both sides inside? They'll fit!

Janor, I LOVE your storage idea and it's so pretty too. Thank you so much for sharing and showing us the pictures too, I need visuals. LOL.

Well, I have a Wally's in my neighborhood and I stopped there late this afternoon. (Thanks, Amy and Connie, YOU ENABLERS, YOU) I found the trading card binder pockets (right with the binders), they were less than $2 for 10 sheets with 9 pockets and those little clear $1 sets fit in there perfectly!!! I have some single unmounted rubber stamps that I'll also store in there. GREAT IDEA. Happy January organizing!!!

I just bought one of those "clip it up" storage racks and I hung the clear stamps on there in their plastic packages. clipitup.com

I store my Studio G $1 stamps in trading card sleeves that I got at Office Max, 10 sleeves for $3.95. My Wally world didn't have them. They hold nine sets. The good thing about it is that you can put them in a binder and then just flip through to find the stamps you need. I store the wood mounted dollar stamps, don't laugh, in a double bacon holder that I got at Walmart for about $3. It holds 3 rows of 5. My DH gave me one of his plastic fishing boxes and I can fit 24 of them in that. The boxes in the fishing section are longer than the ones in the craft departments. Happy organizing!!!
