Sticky Tape and Cats..............
I have a little tip for everyone this morning. Sticky Tape and Cats do not work well together. Princess Furball and I learned this little tip the hard way! While trying to make a squash album this morning, PF (princess furball) thought it would be fun to stick her paw on the album after I removed the backing to the sticky tape. She swung her paw which then allowed the album to stick to her paw and her under belly. I am not sure I can put into words how much fun and pain are involved in removing an album from your cat. PF now has a little patch of fur missing, I have some claw marks, and well great grandmas album has a LOT of PF in its layers. Just thought I would share.

Heehee! Poor kitty! If she's anything like my cats, tho, I bet she hasn't learned her lesson. And I love her name!

That sounds so funny! I know my cat would do the same thing. Hopefully she learned a lesson but I doubt it! LOL!

That's so funny! It also sounds like something my cats would do, especially my cat Camy. She loves to be right there where the action is.

Sure! We could start a trend and make it the new 'must have' fiber embellishment! LOL
My Maine Coon cat give me PLENTY of fur samples on the floor everyday (spring shedding) - I don't need sticky tape to remove it from him - I get it voluntarily.

Too funny. Cats are so strange.
My female cat is obsessed with tape and anything sticky. She has to be right there and she loves to chew and lick tape - weird. Makes you wonder what they put in there.

OUCH! Glad PF is ok
(We call one of our kitties 'PF' for Pretty Feets -- she always stands with her paws together)

Poor kitty!
DH puts scotch tape on our cat's (Oscar) tail occasionally. DH thinks it's funny. Oscar definitely has a different opinion.
Cats are a hoot! Can't live w/o them. I have black cat fiber on all my cards...at least on the backside in the tape. Somehow it's just attracted to the tape.

LOL I did catch it on tape just not the right kind! If I had caught it for AFV they would have to censor it for sure I was using some "daddy" words that time!

Let's hope the recipient isn't allergic to cats. She'll be wondering why she is sneezing every time she looks at the book. ROFL! It's so funny, yet so sad, yet oh so funny! I can totally see it in my mind. I agree with one of the above posters. Too bad you didn't catch it on video! ROFL!

Our Cat Sarge Loves to come down and visit me when I'm stamping too.
He gets into all sorts of stuff.... The other day I found out that he has walked through one of my ink pads........Yes Ink all over my desk.....And he just sat there looking at me... :> What?
So I had a big mess to clean up.

So funny! Cats are hilarious that way---I came in the other evening to find that my cat Georgia had unrolled almost a whole roll of glue dots and had them everywhere!! I have no idea what they are thinking! LOL

This is hilarious! Maybe all of you should have a card swap with cards your cats make! I bet there would be some pretty interesting creations (and stories) from that!

What a riot!!!! My cats love adhesive, I don't know what it is, but if I leave a bit of rubber from cutting stamps I find it all over and chewed up. Our cats have made us laugh on numerous occations, I think it's just their nature to do some truely dumb and hilarious things. Maybe you should post your PF as an embellishment in your gallery.

That is too funny, everyone should have a feline assistant (or as my cat ages--supervisor). They must put something in tape because my other cat used to love to lick it and smell it too.
Thanks for the chuckle. Hope the kitty wasn't too traumatized.

I have a male cat who is the same way. I have to put my tape dispenser in a closet when I'm not using it, or he'll chew the roll, ruining it. I once read that some plastics have use a fish emulsion as part of the processing, so perhaps that's why they find it so tasty!

Poor PF Thanks for the morning laugh, I SO needed it. I keep trying to talk hubby into letting me get a cat but to no avail...YET!! Not to hijack but I use to have a kitty named Thomas and a dog named BOBO (he was a ditz). Thomas use to sit on my dryer in the kitchen (military housing). He would line up his dry food along the dryer and fling one piece at a time down the hall to watch the dog chase after it and run into a closed door. If he wasn't doing that he would attack my flower arrangements. I hung them above the cabinets to keep him out of them and he would sit on the w/d, meow at them and do his best to try to knock them down. Cats are strange but funny little animals.

Not sure what you can do about the album though, lol

Love cat stories - thanks for sharing. My Jacob likes to sit and stare at the dog until the dog barks at him, then he swats the dog, and the chase is on! I'm not impressed.....but Jacob thinks it is funny.

LOL- too funny! Our cat is way too lazy to try such antics anymore. Maybe 3 years ago... but now she's too dignified (re: boring). Oh well- at least we're getting more sleep at night, instead of listening to her run around the house like a maniac at 3 am!

I had this mental picture of the cat tearing through the house with a squash album bouncing along making it run faster. This is so funny. We have a huge orange cat who comes to my stamp room every time I stamp. While I'm standing at the paper cutter, he usually reaches up and whaps me with both paws on either side of my bottom to demand attention. Such a wierd cat!

Garnetj,
Love the picture. That is me in bed at night. No room for hubby. Just me and the cats.................lol.
My cats get into everything. Miss Kitty drinks out of the toilet, Dufus tries to eat my hair every chance he gets, and di*khead eats holes in my bread. Yes the last two are boys.

One of ours has a Q-Tip fettish. Digs them out of the trash and chews on the end (ewwwwwww!) and plays with it on the slick floors.

Our Polly does this!!! She doesn't dig them out of the trash though. She pulls them out of the container with her "lips". It's the funniest thing to watch. She is soooo very careful.
She then drops it and plays a bit with it, then its onto another new qtip. She never eats the tip though.
