Default Stamps in French

I am looking for a company that sells stamps in french. I want to make a card for my DIL who is finishing her maternity leave and going back to her Grade 1 class. She teaches French and I would like to make a card introducing her to her students and their families. Does anyone know of companies that sell stamps in french instead of english? I have browsed Stampin Up but cannot find anything appropriate. Any suggestions.

Stampin' Up! offers many of their stamp sets in French. You should be able to contact a Canadian demo and check them out.

Edit: Never mind...I see you said you didn't find anything appropriate!

Not sure exactly what you are looking for, but Magenta makes quite a lot of stamps in French.

Not sure what you are looking for, but CTMH has a few of their sentiment stamp sets in English, Spanish, or French.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am looking at the websites, but not having much luck.

I am looking for: (in french) - From the Desk of or Just A Note and also some encouraging phrases for her to stamp on her student's work. I do not speak or know french - so it is a little more difficult for me to find what I am looking for.

Thanks for your help.

Hmm, not sure I've seen any sentiments along those lines. Frantic Stamper has some French stamps, but not that type. And I can't honestly say I've seen anything like what you are asking about even in Paris.

I have found these types of stamps in French in teacher supply stores here in BC since French is part of our core curriculum. Since you are also in Canada, you might have luck there. (Sorry, mine are so old, I can't find the manufacturer on it.)

Cavallini & Co has a French Word Rubber Stamp set...love it! I use it all of the time.

Were you looking for certain French words?

Stampin' Up! has some that come in French/English/Spanish but check the grammer. I got some and the stamp says "des joyeuses fetes" which is not proper. It's like saying "of Season's Greetings" but easily remedied. I've also gotten stamps from mystampbox.com

myStampBOX has stamps in several languages including French. I've used her stamps and they are good quality clear stamps.

hello from France.

I've got a lot of this company's stamps. They are very nice. They can ship oversea but for the shipping costs you need to contact them. The lady is on a forum on which I go from time to time so I'm going to contact her to ask how to properly order from the USA and I'll come back with the info.

I've been offering a very well known stamp company to translate in French some of their sentiments stamps and dies. My first language is French and I don't want to deal with stampin up and the other few companies that sell French stamps are not what I'm looking for. I'm actually going to translate over 40 sets and send it to them. They would attract a bigger market AND I would buy stamps for my everyday life, not always using alphabet sets to create sentiments.

French is my maternal language, if someone ever wants something translated, I'll do it with pleasure. Just send me a PM.

I've checked my stampbox and as a French Canadian, not impressed with the wordings and some too literal translation which aren't good IMO
