I got the Silhouette, it comes with 50 die cuts and a $200 download card. When I went to look at the downloads it was buy one get one free! So that just made my $200 into $400! Can't beat that.

This is the first year that I had actually made the list that my husband always asks for. I thought I did really well, putting down all different price points (from slippers to a new Coach purse)...apparently he didn't understand the concept of just "picking a few of the items". I am very blessed, he always spoils me but this year was over the top. Yes, I got the slippers and the Coach purse...and just about EVERYTHING else in between. My daughter got me the only "craft related" gifts though...the MM Desktop Carousel (which I also really wanted) and an M's gift certificate. It was a wonderful day!

My H got me a Cricut Expressions as a combo anniversary/Christmas gift! It was too big to take to my mom's house yesterday, so I still haven't opened it. LOL But I got my mom the smaller Cricut and we played with that one instead. Sooooooooo much fun!

I got myself several stamping gifts...... lol Scor-Pal was one and I'm loving that!

DH was wonderful to me and my obsession - eh, I mean hobby. I got the 120 Prismacolor pencil set (really excited about this), the 4 Bellas I asked for (bubblebella, cakeabella, causabella, cosmobella) and the Doodlecharms Cricut cartridge, which I don't have the machine yet - I'm still trying to decide which one I want. Can't wait to go play!

Copic Ciao marker sets A and B, from DH I will be playing with them today. 3 sets of Fiskars clear stamps from one DS, and markers that also cut from the other DS. The main thing is that we were all together on Christmas Eve. Our oldest DS lives in Florida, and the rest of us in NJ. It was so nice to all be under one roof.

I'm a single person and really enjoy reading all these posts of the items you all have been so lucky to receive for Christmas. Even if you do have to drop subtle or lead brick hints as to what you want, you are fortunate that family/friends respond. I purchase my own, but on a slower time frame. Too many people in my family to exchange gifts.

I also find it interesting to see what each person holds more important to them as far as craft items. Stamps, markers, pencils, paper, machinery, etc.

Having these items and what we do with them is not an obsession, it's a craft! We are all craftsmen in our own right. What ever the level we may be at, most people are always looking to increase their level of creativity.

I also find it interesting to hear the names of some of these products. Many I've never heard of, but after reading your posts I do searches to see what they are all about. I realize that depending on what part of the country we live in or what side of the ocean, we have access to different brands of products.

Have fun with all your new things and enjoy finding new ways to incorporate them into the craft items you already have.

I got some lovely things from my stamping wishlist...2 sets of stamps from Charater Constructions, a cowgirls inchie set from Queens Dresser Drawers, a set of bird themed stamps, some pink German foil stars and black foil crowns, and a cool box of vintage map stickers that are in a multitude of shapes (stars, sm circles, ovals, squares)....lots to play with! And I also got a really neat book on collage (The Art of Personal Imagery by Corey Moortgat). I'm goin' test 'em all out as soon as I get dressed....oh what the heck...I do my best stamping in my pj's! Everybody enjoy your new stuff!

I got the SS and RR watercolor crayons and the SS reinkers. Now I can order those new nature sets and play - what fun!

My main Christmas present was our whole family got together on the 15th for an early holiday celebration, which was so much fun! The love of family trumps everything else.

DH gave me a rolly cart thingy with 7 pull out mesh drawers for my craft room. Man - will that ever come in handy.
But the best thing he gave me is a homemade card! While I was getting dinner ready yesterday, he was in my craft room going thru scraps of paper 'cause he didn't want to cut up any of my cardstock' (good man). Anyway, he was so exicted about it! He said he used a punch, my ATG gun, the scor-pal and the guillotine cutter, etc etc. It really was funny !! He even stamped on the back "homemade by". Now, that was the best present EVER!
I will definately post a pic of the card a little later today!
Congrats to everyones presents! Hope everyone finds time to play with their new toys!!!

My husband got me a Big Shot and some dies for it and my in laws got me a Cricut and a cartridge and some supplies. The Big Shot wasn't a surprise but the Cricut sure was! My husband knew his parents were getting it for me but he said that he took a look at both machines and decided that they would do different things so he thought I could use both. I guess I am set for die cutters!!!

I also got a bunch of stuff from Stampin' Up - a simply sent kit, four stamp sets, cardstock, eyelets, and some tools.

It was a fantastic Christmas; I just need to find time to play!

I must agree with pjw29855. This is not an obsession it is a craft!!! Just think of all the friends and family who receive our cards....how excited they are...and appreciative. It's a great great hobby!!

I received 2 scallop punches for Christmas. I was so excited because they are so hard to find right now. AND the store they came from is having 20% off of everything Feb 2nd. I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Happy New Year to all!

I have to share this:

My hubby bought me 3 different Fiskars ScrapBoss templates......

the only problem is ..........I don't have a Scrapboss! LOL

I told him a little while ago........he says we'll go to M's tomorrow and get me one. I'll be nice and let him have my 50% off coupon

He got me lots of other stuff too tho....awsome new Digital Camera, laptop bag for my new 17" laptop, box of gorgeous smelling products from Lush and a stocking full of makeup and goodies.........

He did good!

the most awesome gift I received has to be from my parents. It was a box in a gift bag. Inside the box was a note..........We will deposit $5,000 in your bank...............I am totally blown away by this. It will be saved and used as part of a downpayment for a house next year. I could pay off some bills.......but how often do you get a chunk of money like that that u can save and put to something like a house?

My friend who is a demo & her mom got me the earth elements & bold brights watercolor crayons for my birthday (which is on Saturday). My sister got me the scallop punch & soft subtles crayons. From my parents they suprised me with the tab punch & a new "stamped by" stamp. My other one was torn. My brother & SIL got me 2 stamping books filled with ideas. I can't wait to make some cards from them.

But most of all was spending Chistmas with my family & watching my 5 year old nephew open his gifts. The funny thing is, he loves to stamp with me. He even has his own "craft drawer" in my room.

Sounds like everyone was getting goodies. How fun to play with new toys and to get more organized in our spaces. The gifts I made went over big time. Hubby made me several wall mounted stamp pad holders and we made an assembly line to make several for my cardmaking friends. I made several sets of coasters that were loved by all. Daughter gave me storage jars for my shelf and a picture frame that flashs pics. She said I could use it for my many card pictures, but somehow I think that the grandkids faces will be popping up just as often.

$25 GC to Gina K’s store (I live 10 minutes from her store!), HL gift card, square giga punch, new blade for my carl cutter, new EK scissors (like the SU Snips), 12X12 Scrapbook frame (red!), and a $35 Gift card to UW bookstore which is technically NSR, but they sell bucky badger scrapbooking papers there – which is what I am going to use part of it for –the rest will go towards the 2006 Badger Football Highlight DVD!)

My 4 year old daughter made my DH bring her to AC MOORE to buy me something, he watched as she picked out "sone little stamps" and then was astounded when they came to 28 dollars at the register!! He gets it now.
So I got a cool open style alpha by hero arts. She was so excited to give them to me, it was adorable.

I also got a Craft Organizer for my room that has spools for my ribbon, etc. I will have to take a photo so you can see it - I can't wait to fill it with all my stuff!!
You will have to tell us how long it took you to MOUNT all of those! LOL! That's a TON of STAMPS!
