It's been more than 6 months since I saw my Whisper White craft pad. I know I had it when I ordered the reinker but it disappeared before the order was delivered and hasn't been seen ever again. I ordered a Very Vanilla one to be its friend but VV is lonely!

And the swirl from Fresh Flowers went missing after only a few uses. I actually think one or both of my cats took it ... but they just smile when I ask them .

I couldn't understand why I kept losing my craft sponges and then find them all over the house in the most bizarre places - in the kitchen, in my son's bedroom, the bathroom....until I saw my cat with one in her mouth like it was a mouse!! Now I blame the cat for anything lost. I have lost my folding blade from my paper trimmer THREE times and had to buy a new one each time. I've torn apart the room looking for it, even had DH crawl under the table to look, but never found them again. Next time I have to buy a new sponge or folding blade - the cat gets replaced!!!

My black versa fine pad turned up missing. I looked everywhere. I figured when I replaced it that the lost one would turn up but no dice. That sucker is gone for good (Maybe KJPP's cat took it. )

LOL ! If my cat DID take it-then it's settled-she's gone! I can't have the cat using my stamping stuff--she has to get her own!!

I lost the cap to my Certainly Celery marker. I looked for it and looked for it but couldn't find it so I stuck the marker in a plastic baggie and kept looking for it. It took me two days to find it; I even called my sister and asked her to come help me look for it. I really realized I had a problem when I was staying up at night worrying about where the lid could be and if the marker was going to dry out. Finally, though, the marker and cap were reunited and the marker was just fine.

i'm so glad your story had a happy ending. i was worried you'd have to euthanize the celery! *and they lived happily ever after!*

Two days after PTI's Green Thumb set came, I lost the large strawberry... both pieces. I tore my stamp room apart looking for them and after 3 days finally gave up. A few months later I was going through a basket of finished cards and found the bottom piece... I was thrilled thinking the top had to be there too! No such luck.... it hasn't turned up to this day. Broke my heart... I love that set!

I've lost more than I can count, but today, on the way to take my shower, I stepped into my craft room to try something and managed to lose my clean panties along the way.

Yes, I know panties aren't a stamping tool, but they are a necessity for me!

My Coluzzle was lost in action for about 6 months until I cleaned out The Black Hole (aka my spare-bedroom-soon-to-be-a-crafting-room). Tah Dah! There it was!

Do you suppose there is one little stamping fairy that is filling up her own craft room with all the things that she is STEALING from us?

I found my purely pomegranate paper!!!! Not only that, but there was a whole pack of whisper white with it too!! I also found: stazon cleaner, my paper piercing tool and some eyelets - none of which I even knew were missing! That tells you what a disaster my craft area is!

It was under, and I mean way under, so you couldn't see it under, a rolling cart I have in my craft area. I found it by getting down on my tummy!!

I finally said enough is enough and started cleaning and organizing today. I still have to finish (about 3/4 of the way through) and go out and buy some baskets tomorrow, but I am just sooo happy!!! Even if I don't finish today, I've gotten enough done that the task seems very manageable to do in hour or two chunks of time.

Good luck everyone.......

Most recently, after Halloween when things were on sale at Wal-Mart I bought a ceramic pumpkin. When I was looking at it I remembered checking them out at the begining of the Halloween season. When I was cleaning up my stamp room before my family got here at Thanskgiving I foudn a Wal-Mart bag with a ceramic pumpkin it, so now I have two.

The thing I misss the most is a samll tackle box FULL of embelishments. I haven't seen this since we moved here over three years ago. The movers did the packing, but I did the unpacking with the help of Mom and Aunt. I can only guess, since it was aclear box that it was left in the bottom of a box and thrown away.

Last year I lost a set of alcohol inks, an applicator, felt pads and the blending solution. I bought it at Hobby Lobby and I remember putting the bag in my car. I don't recall bringing it in the house but I had other bags of things to bring in so I may have brought it in. I've looked all over inside my car (under the seats, etc.) with no luck. ?? No clue where it is!

As part of my hostess benefit, I got 5 or 6 classic ink pads...can I find them? No. I took a bag of stuff to a friend for her to borrow while I was on vacation and thought they were with her, but no luck so far...got a bone folder and can't find that either....had a pack of CM baby girl stickers to send to a RAK request from a couple months back...can't find those either...my stuff is strewn from one end of the house to the other, so it is no surprise I can't find stuff...plus the cats do like to swat things off the table and sneak things away - found a sponge all hairy and torn up just today...

I had paper strewn all over the craft room and started cleaning up and discoverd:
Paper designated for the snowman moving card I want to make,
Paper left over from the Archivers "dove" card I cased
Pretty orange shimmer paper, have no idea what this 1 sheet is for, but it's pretty
the directions to all the Archivers cards
the second page of instructions to the above mentioned dove card
pretty green card stock, I figured it would come in hand this season
a set of clear snowflake stamps and the paper for the cards
gold and silver shimmer paper

But I did find both spools of ribbon I bought at WM for the Joy tag card.

Then when I was packing up all the Joy tag elements to take over to my BF I couldn't find my brand spanking new ATG! And I remembered a post as to how do you lose an ATG, it's huge! I stood in the middle of the room looking for a big red thing and thought to myself I just had the thing in my hand, where did I lay it down? You must understand my room is only 10' x 10', so it's not like it could actually HIDE somewhere. Well apparently the ATG was tired and decided to lay down on the floor in the corner. Whew! that was a close call!!

Well, lets see, 6 inks I got in Oct. as hostess FINALLY turned up in a CM photo sort box I had packed to take to a retreat in Oct. (but left home at the last minute) and have been searching for ever since...found my stickles I bought in the summer in the bag of wedding album stuff from my son's wedding in JUly...was waiting on his dad for photos before making album, finally got film developed myself and still haven't done the album. Now my cool caribean ink pad is hiding under something - my table is a disaster...have a clear dining room table someone gave me and I use it for stamping since I eat my WW frozen dinner sitting here at the computer...

I lost a piercing too too! Way back in May I took it to a card making class and couldn't find it when I got home. I looked everywhere for it. Went back to the church where we had the card making class . . . was slightly concerned because we had the class in the same room that the children meet in every Sunday . . . still didn't find it. Last week, I needed some water color pencils for a card and was digging around in my pencil cup and got poked in the finger by the paper piercer. I'd given up months ago and already replaced it so now I've got two paper piercers.
Most recently, I cannot find the cover to my Cutter Bee scissors.

I just love this thread. It makes me feel so NORMAL! I hunted everywhere for my large hole punch which is a little bigger than the large on the Crop o dile. Completed 900 bookmarks which were sent to Kenya with the littler hole -- a real bear pulling yarn and ribbon through that smaller space! Yesterday I found the punch right where I ALWAYS keep them. How did I miss it! Maybe those space aliens finished with it and put it back.

I use a hand held rotary cutter (quilter style) to cute my layer pieces and I have a spare straight cut and a scallop blade that are MIA... Have looked everywhere twice. I knew exactly where they were until I rearranged a lot of stuff over the summer. That's what I get for organizing. LOL

That's the item that usually disappears from a workshop for me. People seem to use it as a bookmark in catties....so try looking in your catties!!

My Coluzzle knife, finally found it after six months of looking for it and buying a new one, I found it in a paint can sitting on my shelf and waiting for the last year or so to be altered I have no clue how it got there.
An acrylic stamp set I hunted for a couple of months for and found stuck to the window again have no clue how it got there
Several sponges and other small items usually found under the bed or lost for good thanks to my cat.
A brand new roll of ATG tape, UPS came to the door and I had just opened the tape I set it down on my table went to answer the door and tape was gone when I got back and cat was sitting on the table looking guilty, a hour or so later I heard my little dog wimpering found her under the bed wrapped up in the tape stuck to the floor the only think I can think of is the cat was having her revenge on me for not letting her have the scrapbook table as her own personal play place and revenge on the dog for just being the dog.
Other things that have been lost and found are the cap to my cutter bee snips, spools of ribbon, stamp sets and papers
Things that ran away from home and never returned, waterbrushes, chalks, loads of emblishments, stamps sets and ink pads.
Some of my things have been found to have run away to my sister's scrapbook room 300 miles away from home and some of her items have run away to my scrapbook room

Does that mean you are "seasonally" challenged? 3 stamps sets, seriously?
