Stampin Up Pumpkin Kit????
Who has gotten the kit??? And what do you think of it? Is it worth the $20 a month? Please be honest, not just because you're a demo, etc....
$20 is a lot now-a-days, and I want to make sure I'll be getting my $$$ worth. Is it a card kit, project kit, both? etc.... If it's a card kit, how many do you get to make? etc...
Thank you so much for your input!!!

I saw a video posted online. It said it was a card kit with enough supplies to make four of the cards. It came with two small stamps, an ink spot, card bases, self-adhesive die cuts and an acrylic block. It didn't specify if the acrylic block was a one-time thing or not. I'm just not sure it's worth $20 a month.

Mine is on the way. I figure it is worth it to have a project I can just sit down and enjoy. I spend more than that buying take out lunch for all my children and we get 15 minutes - at the most enjoyment out of that.
I'll be back with an honest assessment when my box comes. I had been hemming and hawing over ordering and finally caved. I love getting mail.

SU has pictures on their web site. It shows what's in the kit.

Not many people have gotten them yet as they just shipped out so they are on the way and should be arriving next week (aside from those who got them at a SU event).
The acrylic block is in fact a one time thing and will come in your first kit and not in the others. You can also get a "try it kit" which has the makings of two little journals you decorate so you can try it before actually signing up to commit monthly if that makes sense.
I saw my upline's and I thought it was worth it and the projects were cute. I really really LOVE the "hey there" stamp in the first kit so I think I'll get my money's worth out of JUST that stamp...I plan to stamp it on everything lol!
I'm excited to get mine next week and also see what everyone else thinks! Who doesn't love mail that's not a bill or something depressing or junk? Hehe!

Mine is on the way to be delivered Wednesday. Will post after it arrives. I also saw one and like the idea of having something ready to go.

I received the kit at Stampin' Up!'s leadership conference. I do think it's worth the $14.95 kit price ($5 is shipping):
D block ($8.50 on its own)
2 CM stamps
ink spot
4 buttons
4 cards w/envelopes
adhesive die cuts (AKA stickers)
Ideas to put the kit together
There are lots of ideas online to make things --even beyond cards -- with the kit contents. And, for a class here, we made a faux copy of the kit card with the distressed dots background stamp.
Fun surprise every month in a box!

In Canada, the price of Paper Pumpkin is 24.95, with shipping included, just for your information.

Ok, you've all convinced me to at least give it a try. I saw the trial kit on the website but cannot find a spot to actually order the trial kit.

I do believe you can get the "trial" kit either from your demo or through her online store. I would think you'd be able to get it on the pumpkin website too but can't seem to find it. I know we can order it though because I have one coming in my next order. So, if you'd like to get the trail kit I'd contact your demo or try to find it in her online store if she (or he) has one!

I just got my first My Paper Pumpkin kit in the mail today! Honestly- I personally think it's worth the money. The only item that the kit lacks is adhesive. The kits are perfect for the person who doesn't have a lot of room to store a lot of craft supplies, new stampers or someone who just wants to try out card making. Experienced stampers may or may not like the kit. It all just depends on one's individual taste. I've been stamping for about 17 years or so now and I loved the kit. All the items come pre-cut so there is no measuring required. It's basically assembly and stamping.
There is a Try-it Kit which comes with 2 journals, card stock stickers, bakers twine, a "D" acrylic block, 2 stamps and an instruction sheet.
The welcome kit is always the first kit you will receive regardless of when you join. The welcome kit contains: - Hey There Stamp Set
Basic Gray Classic Stampin' Spot
4 Printed Cards
4 Printed Designer Paper
Die-cut card stock stickers
4 designer buttons
There is no time commitment so if you sign up and aren't satisfied with it- you can cancel at any time. April will be the first month that will have different kits. However if you sign up before April 10th- you will receive the Welcome Kit in April and your first kit after the welcome kit will be the May kit. Once a kit is gone- it's gone.
So I guess what I'm saying is that I think it's worth checking out! At least for 2 months. 1 month for the welcome kit and another to actually see what the program is all about.
Hope this helps!

Mine came yesterday. I was ready to be skeptical. I was really wondering if this is how I want to spend my crafting budget. I think what you get is worth the cost if you take off $5 for shipping what is included is certainly worth the money.
I am pleased with the kit. Not my normal style of stamping with the sticker things but they will make some cute quick cards. I am going to give it a couple months before I decide for sure. It will be fun to get a kit next month that is a complete surprise.

I think the kits in the next few coming months will be exciting. As far as I know- we won't know what comes in those specific kits until they actually arrive in our mail boxes. That's the fun part! With the Welcome and Try-it Kits we all knew what we were getting as it was pictured on the My Paper Pumpkin website. I'm glad you were pleased with your kit!

I recieved my kit yesterday. I thought I signed up to get the "regular" kits not the trial kit. The instruction sheet included with the supplies is titled "Hey There Try It Kit". Is this what everyone received? Or is there a different monthly kit if you signed up to receive it regularly? Anyone know?

They Hey There kit is actually the Welcome kit. The Try it kit comes with 2 journals, Jots and Thoughts stamp set, a sheet of butterfly card stock stickers, an island indigo stampin' spot, a D acrylic block and an instruction sheet.
Everyone who joins will receive the Hey There kit as their first kit (because it also has the acrylic block that the future kits will require). Those who signed up for the kit before March 10th will receive the April kit in April. Those who sign up after March 10th will receive the Hey There kit in April and their first actual monthly kit will be the May kit. (If someone joins after April 10th- they will receive the Hey There kit in May and their first actual kit will be the June kit, etc...) Make sense? I know it's confusing!

I got my kit, made 4 cards... took me no time at all.
I will continue to get the kits for a few months, but I wasn't overwhelmed with this kit. We will see.
And yes, the credit card thing got straightened out. I e-mailed the home office and they were responsive and helpful.

I love it it is fast and quick and I think even though we won't get 4 cards each time for what you got it was worth money. I will be posting a video on my blog each month doing the kit for my customers. WE will see what comes this month but I really am looking forward to this every month.

So far I'm not impressed. I guess the two kits I've received are just not my style. I don't feel the stamp in the second kit would send an appropriate message to anyone I know. Maybe it's meant more for the younger generation.

I've had fun playing with my Try-It kit although the colors and "splatter" stamp are not really my taste. Hope next kit may be more colorful and a different style...but that's the fun part, I guess, not knowing what's coming and trying out different things!

I haven't seen the kit yet, but one of my co-workers gets it. She is in her early 30s, and she said that she loves it! She's bringing it to work on Monday so I can see it. She also really liked the first sets. She doesn't have a lot of crafting supplies, so she likes having everything she needs in the kit. I think that's who it's geared to--people who want to try paper crafting without a lot of commitment.

haven't received this month's yet
I haven't received this months kit yet. My credit card was charged on April 12. How long does it take to be shipped to me? What should I do?
I received my kit last month within a week from my credit card being charged.
Thank you,

Thank you, |
If you have a demonstrator, they can trace the package. Otherwise, contact Stampin' Up and they can trace it. They were shipped on the 15th. My customer got hers on Friday.

Not that I know of officially. I'm sure you could google search for blogs or search on here in the gallery. And actually there is only one monthly kit so far, April. They Try it kit and the welcome kit will always be the same and they are pictured on the site.
