Is it just me, or is it odd that SU doesn't advertise on SCS... a community FULL of stampers/SU customers and yet it places ads on facebook? It just struck me as odd.
Ok, really, does SU need to advertise here? So, so many demos and customers hang out here . . . . it makes much more sense to me that they'd advertise where they might not be known.
Oh cool. I am glad they do since they get so much business from here.
Actually, Stampin' Up! does not have/has not ever placed any advertising contracts directly with Splitcoast; any of the Stampin' Up! ads folks have seen appearing in the banner area are actually Google feed-back ads.
Google has removed the "feed-back" ad language that used to appear beneath such ads.

I should be off this darn 'puter and busy stampin' . . . or . . . saving the family from eminent laundry avalanche and killer dust bunnies that have been breeding beneath the china hutch  . . . LOL! ;)

Are you sure you're not at my house? Sounds very familiar. ;)

Scrabulous is a game on Facebook, and I'd guess it's something similar to the ads here - they're from Google and they generate based on words on the page, but it's just hard to tell because they're not tagged as being from Google.
Google ads are automatically generated by the words entered in a forum. So Stampin' Up ads could pop up on any forum where people begin tho chat about either rubber or stamps.
On one of out SCS Get Together forums we were chatting about snacks. Someone said they would bring "Puppy Chow." Another gal asked for the recipe for "Puppy Chow." So for most of that day the Google ad at the top of our page was for some brand of dog food.
BTW... Scrabulous is a great place to play Scrabble online.

I agree- it wouldn't make sense for SU to spend their money to advertise here. Everyone here knows about SU, it wouldn't be a very useful allocation of advertising budget.
However, it would be nice of them to advertise to SUPPORT SCS- which has probably brought millions of dollars to SU over the years.
