Default Stampin Time Ruined Again!

I just got a call from DH, it is almost noon here, and he calls to tell me there is a military family get together this afternoon, at about 2pm. I am sitting here as patiently for my first new catty order to arrive . . . and it should be here about 2-3 pm.

Last night he tells me that there is another get together on Saturday night, which would make me miss the first 2-3 hours of VSN.

I know I am being selfish, but I have just been so excited about this stuff. The extra demands of his job have been really big this week, we had events Sat, Sun, today, Thursday night, now Saturday night too. UGH!

Just needed to vent to people who would understand!

I know how it is with all those military get togethers, they never end!!!!

Sorry your stamp time is ruined!!! maybe turn it into an opportunity for a squadron stamp camp!!!!

Hmmm....perhaps you need a break, like a big ole headache. Can you get your DH to practice saying "My wife really wanted to come, but unfortunatly, she has a migrane today."

This means of course that you have to stay home to stamp in your bathrobe in case someone comes to the door.

I think if these functions are going to happen this often, a little white lie once in a while is okay - it's for your own mental health.

I'm so glad my husband's Unit is mostly young and single, or older and divorced - lol - no family get-togethers for us.

Yeah, that'd be nice if he could cover for you occasionally. My husband understands the importance of stamping. He was thrilled the night the new catalogue came, he knew I wouldn't utter a peep all night ;)
