Hi,
I have ordered them from www.stampamania.com. They have a pretty big selection of wheels. The brand is rollograph, and the wheels will fit in your SU handle.
I am not attached to them, by the way, just a customer. I probably heard about them on SCS. lol
Hope that helps,
Chris

This is the company that makes them and they have all the wheels that are not Stampin Up. The bad news is that you have to pay full price (but still less that SU) and the good news is they have a huge selection. Enjoy!

Take a look on eBay! When I bought mine about 2 years ago, lots of people where selling them because they just don't use them. I personally have unmounted all of mine and I use them more now that ever before!!!
I have several wheels, but haven't used them much. When you unmount them, can you still make it look like a continuous pattern as if you rolled it? Any tips?

Thanks,

I have not tried that yet! I use them to make backgrounds for my cards. When the wheel is unmounted it is 6" long so you can do a row across a card in either direction.

How in the world do you unmount wheels? and why would you??? I am very curious on this as my wheels take up space LOL
I absolutely love the stamping wheels - in theory! However, just this past weekend I decided to unmount them all. They're very frustrating as is, and I'm going to get far more use by unmounting and using them with my Stamp-a-ma-jig. Looking forward to finding more at the resources you girls revealed!

Actually, they peeled off really easily. I had to use an Xact-o knife to gently lift it up, to begin it. But after that, they peeled like bananas - LOL! I've never unmounted before, so I'll have to learn how to prepare them for acrylic. But my understanding is that's not hard to do at all.
Go on, girls! Live life on the edge! Why have those marvelous wheels if you're not using them?? Besides, think of the money you'll save not having to buy separate inks!

I LOVE my wheels, i just ordered some today, but i do agree about buying seperate inks...I don't and just roll them directly on the ink cartridge, but it does come out light still.
Do you just put them on Easy mount foam board?? And is their a block big enough for unmounted wheels?
I've tried rolling them on inkpads directly but there's a real lack of depth of color. Can't seem to press down at that "in between" place so it gets coated but not saturated.
Good question about an exisiting acrylic block. Don't know. But if not, I've taped EZ Mount-ed images to the sides of my kids' wooden blocks and, believe it or not, they've stamped the images just fine! The only drawback is; the tape I've used has pulled off the static cling coating which allows it to stick to acrylic. So, if I can't find acrylic blocks to accomodate these, I'll just mount them to wood. The Stamp-a-ma-jig makes it so easy to stamp directly where I want that I'm not sold on having to have them acrylic mounted.
