Default Stamp Sets you will miss forever

I have been a SU! demo for almost 9 years, so I mostly know SU! sets. I find that I will never part with a few of them and wish I could still demo them.
"Botanicals" is one. "Architectural Elements" is another. What do you still miss that is older than a year or 2?

WOW - were we separated at birth? I keep everything I love too. I need a separate stamp house at this point.

I have to admit I don't understand the purging thing. Occasionally I make a purchase I regret, but they are few and far between. I could not sell older ones for newer ones, I want them all!! I have not been with SU long but I admit I really want Coast to Coast. It's a timeless design I could use often.

I really try to only purchase what I like as well. I'm a hobby demo also. I have a few sets I have to try and get rid of but they were either Sell-A-Bration or some I just tired of. However, I keep most of mine!!!!

We're not being very informative are we?

There are quite a few sets that i have that I will never part with. Sometimes I see an ISO for a set I love and I think "She would have to come pry it out of my cold, dead hand!"
In Full Bloom, Holy Tryptich, Love You Latte, Office Ephemera are a few that come to mind. I also have a hard time parting with alphabets and I sorely regret selling some of them like Whimsical.

I am thinking about a purge. I opened all my stamp cabinets a week ago. I keep looking, but I am having a problem.

I have not purchased certain current sets because they are just too similar to ones I already have. But my will power slipped with this year's Holiday Mini from SU. Bright Hopes is so like Snow Swirled but I had to have it.

If I do purge, it will probably be cutesy stuff I got when I first started stamping. I found my "style" and have sets I think I will never use again. Unfortunately, they look so dated to me, I bet they will to everyone. Maybe kids would like them?

I'm mainly a hobby demo also and do not part with any of my beloved sets. That being said I do hold a workshop every other month. There are sets I wish I could demo. They are
Valentine Defined~it's so cute, so versatile, so wonderful. Why or why did they pass that one up?
Office Accoutrement~One of my all time faves!
Branch Out~ Around way too short of time!
Sew Suite
Sweet Stems
Happy Together
I know some of these are not real old but I wish I could demo them!

I'm not a demo for any company, so I don't have to worry about staying current or only showing current sets. However, I do have several sets I would never part with, such as Stipple Shells, Smile and Smile Some More, Artfully Asian, and the Just Jeans and Linen backgrounds.

If you looked in my craft closet before, you would think I should have been on that show about hoarders. So I went from about 100 SU sets to 2. I can't say that I miss any of them. Now I have space for other things and made $$$ in the process of selling them so I could afford other things.

I'm not a demo, so I've kept all the ones I love whether they are retired or not. That said, I can't imagine ever parting with Artfully Asian, Baby Firsts, Fifth Avenue Floral, Big Pieces & Little Pieces, Unfroggetable, and quite a few of my Christmas set. I also almost never get rid of sentiment sets.

I know that everyone gets into selling for different reasons. When I did it, it was to get the discount since I was at the time already spending enough to make my minimums by myself. I only bought what I loved and would use, so I don't typically get rid of items I've purchased. I knew several demos who only got into it as a business - didn't really care about the stamping or scrapbooking aspects and were only just good enough artistically to be able to produce items to show customers and demonstrate how things were done. Other than that, they didn't have a love for creating - so for them, they'd immediately sell off whatever was no longer current. They wanted the money only, so the individual designs or products meant nothing to them except as potential income or not.

For me, I still have just about every stamp I've ever purchased. I'm going to be selling off ones that no longer fit my design style or ones I need to make cards for other people as gifts. A few sets that will never leave my house are Botanicals, Stipple Shells, Toy Box, and Travels Abroad to only name a few. I have lots that I won't part with because I still constantly use them. They still stand well on their own or work fantastically with newer items I have from other companies.

I'm not a demo but at one time had a cupboard full of sets. I tend to like the fun stamp sets but find I never use them. So I purged and sold them all locally for a great deal and made some newbies really happy.
I think I have about 30 sets now.
One stamp I really want and cannot find is "stay tuned" wish I had bought that one.

My favorite background stamp is French Script--use it all the time. I still love:
Like it a Latte
Classic Convertibles
Classic Trucks
If I were at home and could look them, there many others in my stash I could list.

I'm not a demo but probably should be because I know I spend more than the minimum. I don't get rid of my stamps. Not my SU and not many of the others I have either. I am an SU addict, I must admit! A set I wish I had bought and did not was Riot of Petals. Anyone have it for sale?

The one set I miss being able to demo is Best of Cluck, I have a small chicken problem. I love the little cluckers!
