Red face Stamp organizing help!

I am a relative newbie and already am amassing too many stamps to keep track! Also, I have to root through the box when I'm trying to find one in particular. Can someone suggest the best way to keep them organized and also to REMEMBER what stamps I already have? I'm embarrassed to say that I have become a stamp addict

i buy 99% SU! and they come in plastic boxes. you can buy these boxes for your own storage tho.

i stamp each set on a sheet of paper and keep it in a 3 ring binder in alpha order.

hope this helps.

I keep my SU stamps in their original boxes, stack them by the size of the box and alphabetize within the stacks. My TAC stamps are in CD cases with the images stamped on the cover. I think some folks stamp all their images on paper and put them in binders. That way they can look through the binder and find what they want without having to rifle through all their sets. I know I tried several different ways to organize before I found on that works for me. Good luck and welcome to the wonderful world of stamping!

The SU cases are great. I can store these on shelves. When I get a collection of other stamps, I use either the cases from SU which can be purchased empty, or in video cases which stack nicely, too. I have a labeller that I use to label the cases for easy identification. I found white video cases 5 for $1.00 at a small store nearby. I wish I'd bought more. They're gone, now.

For example, I have a number of Snoopy stamps in a case marked "Peanuts." In another case marked "Inkadinko" I have some of their stamps that work well together. Another might hold "Hero Arts Flowers".

Hope this helps.

Like others mentioned, my SU stamps are arranged pn shelves by box size and by alpha by set name. I have a binder with images of each stamp set, labeled by name so I can find what i have without pulling them all down. Works for me...

Default Thanks Everyone!

These are great suggestions! Now I'll have something to work from. Thanks again.
