I am interested in what stamp magazines do you like. Which one has the best ideas, newest products, most creative ways of using things? Any recommendations?
I'd forgotten that I signed up to get Cardmaker through my daughter's magazine drive at school (ordered it in Sept) and was pleasantly surprised when it arrived last week. It's been a year or more since I had been ordering it subsription wise and I have to say I think I'll enjoy getting it again!
I love SCS for ideas but it's also nice to be able to snuggle in bed with a good magazine!
I think it really depends on your taste and style.
I still really like Paper Crafts but some months there aren't too many stamping cards in it.
Take Ten and the Stamper's Sampler are definitely for more true stampers but IMO they don't really highlight the "latest and greatest" products and they aren't 100% suited to my taste (I'm a scrappy stamper and the Stamper's Sampler is more artsy stamper).
I agree that Card Maker is decent and for just ideas, Just Cards is jammed with inspiration.
I often like to get Crafts and Things too. The last few issues I've bought had lots of stamping.
I used to really love magazines but now that I've found blogs and a great blog reader I am way happier! Do you like blogs? They meet all your requirements, best ideas, newest products, most creative ways of using things.

I like blogs to, but like Chris said, its nice to look into some ideas without using the Computer. I tend to spend way to much time when i turn it on, that I could better use for stamping myself
Paper Crafts is my favorite craft magazine. I get most of my inspiration from blogs, though. I wish there was a magazine (that came out monthly or bimonthly) that was dedicated only to stamping like the Paper Crafts Stamp It specials that they put out. I would love to see more colored images, too, on the stamping cards in magazines.
I am a magazine junkie, however, I've cut back since Michael's stopped allowing coupons for their purchase. I subscribe to Card Maker, Paper Crafts, Vamp Stamp News, and Crafts & Things. I pick up Just Cards and Scrap & Stamp Art when I see them at Hobby Lobby. I used to love Take Ten and Catch Up issues from Stampington, but I think they're just too expensive at full price. I'm fortunate that my library carries a few stamping magazines.

Thanks for letting me know!
My favorite stamping magazine is RubberStampMadness. It's published bi-monthly and is available by subscription. 877-782-6762 or www.rsmadness.com. They have timely articles on techniques, products, stamp artists and they feature a wide variety of stamping styles and topics for their submissions. Issue #158 (March/April 200 has a terrific article "How Rubber Changed Our Lives: Better Living Through Stamping" by Michael Malan, complete with engaging artwork. As the magazines's title suggests, it's all about rubber stamping - serious, surreal, light-hearted!

Reason: typo and the year is 2008
I have cut back on magazines as well since no coupons are allowed. My favorite is Cardmaker and Stamp & Scrap. I now go to Walmart or Borders and take a few minutes to look at the magazine to see if I like what's in it before I buy it.
I would suggest going someplace that has a large selection of magazines and just looking through them all before ordering any subscriptions. There are many different styles of stamping and the style I like may not be suited to your style. Also, some are very detailed in describing the cards and some have little or none.

Vamp Stamp News is a monthly...and cards are the primary focus. VSN has been published for a long time, and has always been one of the more popular stamping magazines. There aren't as many color shots as found in other mags, but there's far more 'meaty' info than other mags include. Outstanding magazine!
my vote is for rubber stamper madness or the stamper sampler too. i USED to get rubber stamper magazine, but they got bought out, and i personally don't care for what it was replaced with.
Thank you all so much for your suggestions! There were a lot of I never heard about before.
And I will do as flwrldy3 advliced. There aren`t any stamp stores in my area, but I travel a lot and will look for some magazines wherever I could lay my hands on it.

Where I live Barnes and Noble has the largest selection of stamping magazines. JoAnn's surprisingly has the second largest selection even though they have very little stamping supplies.
...is Stamper's Quest magazine (www.stampersquest.com). I am on their design team and we publish issues monthly for all levels of stampers. We even have reader challenges and encourage submissions. Please consider checking us out ;)
My local bookstores and grocery stores have so few papercraft magazines anymore that I will buy whatever they have lately!
However, I do like Scrap & Stamps and I really liked the last issue of "Stamp It!" that I think comes from Papercrafts? It had a lot of cards similar to the more modern scrappy stamp style that I see on a lot of blogs (which is actually where I get most of my inspiration and education these days)

Thanks for the link. This is one I hadn't heard of before!
Thanks for the Stamper's Quest link. I'm going to try that. VSN is pretty good and I love RubberStampMadness, but it only comes out four times a year now. I used to like Rubber Stamper, but I don't like the magazine that took it over. I really don't like much of the other stamp magazines because they're rather boring. I do like Take Ten, but will not pay $15 for a magazine. Most of the others use very little stamping and all the cards look alike.
