Exclamation Stamp It With JOY

I worked at the Women of Faith conference in Denver this past weekend and their dramatist, Nicole Johnson, did a short sketch called Stamp It With Joy...having to do with putting a stamp of joy on events in our lives. It was great, but best of all is that she created the neatest rubber stamp that says "JOY".

I *had* to buy one, of course, and I intend to use it in my Christmas card, though I will use it for other events too...("consider it all joy, my brothers..."). Has anyone else seen it? I will post my cards when I get some made .

If there is one in your area, volunteer to work in product sales. You attend the conference free (both days), work the sales tables in the breaks, get both lunches and one dinner supplied, and some other bonuses. It's great fun!

I love the Women of Faith Conference. I didn't get to go to the one nearest me (but still 4 hours away) this year but I'll be on the lookout for that stamp!!

I can't wait to see the cards you create! I love the Women of Faith conferences. Nicole Johnson is so wonderful, she can bring me to tears in an instant. There is something about seeing so many women assembled in one place that are fired up for the Lord!! Just gives me chills. I know you had a great time....now get to stamping with your new 'Joy' stamp

I didn't realize that you could volunteer to work at Women of Faith. I have volunteered many times to work at Promise Keepers, and talk about being fired up for the Lord. I volunteered once in Dallas where there were over 50,000 men there praising the Lord and singing to Him. OMGosh, next to accepting Christ as my Savior, this was the most awesome experience I have ever had. When WOF comes back to Spokane, I will definitely look into volunteering for them. I get tremendous joy out of listening to the speakers and singing as well.

To volunteer: Go to Women of Faith, click conferences, and volunteer. Simple! even easier is this link:
http://www.womenoffaith.com/conferences/volunteer/
On the conference page is a listing of locations for 2007, and the rest of 2006.

THANK YOU for giving this volunteer information! I never thought about volunteering for one of these conferences, but it would be right up my alley. I can't do the conference in the Twin Cities this fall, but saved the link so I can help with future events. Can't wait!

I just now realized that I filled out the volunteer info sheet for 2006! The one for 2007 isn't yet available. DARN!!! Guess that's why I couldn't find it yesterday! Oh, well. I must bookmark the site and keep checking...

I love Nicole Johnson. I saw her at last year's WOF conference in Kansas City and she was wonderful! That reminds me that I still need to order her sketches! Thanks!
