Default Stamp Clubs

Dear Stampin' Friends,

After a few years of thinking about it, I'd like to try hosting some stamp clubs. I would appreciate any feedback or ideas that you may have regarding them. Do you have any pointers or flyers to share?

Thanks in advance!

Stampingly,
Michelle

Hi Michelle,

I have a letter that I sent out to my "potential" club members. It explains the benefits, rules, etc...

If you have p/m me your e-mail address, I will try to send you a copy. Email me at [email protected].

I don't have any forms to share, I am just trying to start a club myself. The only advice I can give is have them sign a contract. That way you are sure to get everyone their full hostess goodies, by keeping each club member ordering for the agreed upon time. I think this is a great way to not have to worry about quotas! Good luck, and let us know how it goes.

I have had good luck with stamp clubs. They are my bread and butter. It builds loyalty and interest in you as a demonstrator. I explain the way the club works to each member beforehand, I go over it the first night, and hand out the rules so they all are on the same page. I don't have them sign a contract because I'm not sure how you would enforce that. Right now I have 2 card stamp clubs going, 1 scrapbook stamp club going, and working on forming a 4th club that will be a scrapbooking one as well. I had two other stamp clubs that I turned over to my two new recruits. I seem to have more luck getting people to want to start stamp clubs then hostess workshops. Go figure.

I have attached some of the documents I have used with my club.

I hope this works out for you.

I have a stamp club that's going into it's third month (out of 7) and it seems to be working out well. Here's what I've learned...

Pick a form of communication that is convenient for you. All of my members have email, and it's the easiest way for us to communicate. You may be a phone or face to face person. Take that into consideration when you're talking to people about the club.

Send reminders before the orders are due. Mine are due around the 15th so I can get any specials to the members and they can get me orders well before the end of the month. I generally send out a reminder a couple of days before the order is due.

Have a couple of "alternates." People who, perhaps, want to be in the club, but can't afford to order every month. I have 2 who get the same emails as the members and I offer them the same specials, if they decide to order.

HTH!

It looks like my attachments didn't make it the first time. I'll try again.
