Question square envelopes

Does anyone know of a store that sells square envies? Walmart? Staples? Archiver's? I need 12-15 for a stamp camp that I'm planning and don't want to pay shipping to order online. Thanks so much!

If you have a Xpedx in your area, give them a call.

Just a reminder. square cards cost more postage than regular cards.

I would also suggest checking with local printing shops and see if they have any left over from a printing job they would be willing to let you buy. This has worked for me in the past when I needed envelopes that weren't standard sizes.

HTH.

If you're in Oregon or Washington, try Paper Zone. They're awesome!

If you can make the cards 4.25" square, they'll work in regular A2 envelopes and won't require additional postage.

Just wanted to throw out that option.

Just for fun, here's an A-2 envy trick I've used for 4.25" square cards:

Paper Trufflez: A-2 Envy for a square card

Michaels has bunches of square cards (with envies of course) in their $1 bins, and they're on sale 50% off today. I think .50 for 8 square envies isn't a half bad deal, even if they're not the best quality.

Do you have the Martha Steward scoreboard? You can make your own envelopes. I recently made an envelope for 6x6 card out of a 12x12 pice of paper. Worked great.

There may also be some patterns online if you google.

It seems to me like you can also use a regular 5x7 manilla envelope without extra postage, so it could be up to 5x5, or it might be 6x9. I cant remember exactly, it has been awhile.

Julie, I tried your idea with the punched out envelope and it's too cute! Thanks again for sharing.
