Oh, some of these sets are nice. I have a question for you what happened to the Winter Mini? Maybe I missed it. Didn't they do a winter mini that ran through the end of Feb while sellabration was going on?

I really love For Father. (Ironically, I don't think I will use it for my father!) There were some really great looking sets in here, but not all of them suit my style.

Wow, you girls have such restraint on which sets you are going to get. I agree with several of you that I haven't been in love with most of the mini sets lately but this one has a ton that I just have to have

blooming beautiful
silver hodgepodge
live your dreams
one smart cookie (maybe)
essence of love
she's all that (maybe)
sassy suzie- a definite have to have as I love sarcastic phrases
for father--finally a set that is masculine but not overwhelming
and full of life

Now I just have to figure out how to pay for all of it!

Friendly Flower

Yep, get that credit card ready!!!

I think SU did a great job with all of the different styles. I'm not interested in the more "cutesy" kind of drawings but when I saw Bloomin' Beautiful I said "ooooh." Essence of Love is also beautiful, but a maybe on my list.

could someone tell me what the hardware could be used for? Is that only for scrapbooking or projects? or could I put that on cards? What I mean, I guess, is, is it very thin delicate hardware or thick that would require lots of extra postage?

Hey there,
When they changed to two catalogs a year they also changed the dates for Sale-A-Bration and the mini catalogs.
We now only have 2 minis a year:
one in the fall
and an occasions mini in the spring.
In January we have the new catalog (this year at least).

Sale-a-bration now runs Feb 1 - March 17 instead of January - February.

Hope this helps!

oooh! I {heart} this mini too! I am definitely getting:

She's All That (I realize that I am in the minority of people who really like this set!)
Full of Life (I have a thing for quote and phrase sets!)
the Die Cut Blooms
the new Hodgepodge (I just LOVE new accessories!)
both new Poly Twill Ribbon (and new ribbon!)

I am considering:
Summer Picnic DSP (It looks SO cheery!)
In the Stars (I also have a thing for stars)
By Ones & By Twos (I don't have much occasion for baby cards and already have a couple baby sets, but this one is just so unique and versatile!)
Duckies (well, if I get the set, I have to have the matching wheel, right?!)

Terrible, isn't it? Don't tell Hubby ...

Boy am I in trouble with this mini! It is really great. I will for sure be getting:
Live Your Dreams
Die Cut Blooms
Afternoon Tea DSP
Chocolate Twill Ribbon

and will probably get, if I have good sales during SAB--
Full of Life
Sassy Suzie
Scallop Notes
Perfect Day rub-ons

This is coming from a person who limits herself to one set per mini (trying to buy only what I can actually demo and nothing more) so you can tell how WOW'ed I am by it!

I like the skinny ladies, but don't have customers too into that style, so I won't get it. But I hope I get some swaps with it!

I'm not sure if you are in the minority with liking She's All That or not....there seems to be a lot of buzz about it. I'm thrilled they are doing more people - something you don't see a lot of with SU. I like the set except I don't seem to have occasion to make many PG or wedding cards, so it is hard to justify putting it on my long list for only 2 of the stamps.

I haven't seen too many mention these sets together as a group, but I just LOVE Friendly Flowers, Lots of Dots jumbo wheel, and Phrases for a Friend. They all coordinate so well, and they just seem so fresh and fun to me!

Oh my gosh. Thanks for posting the link. This is the first I've seen it, and I love it!!!!

My list includes:

glitter
hodgepodge hardware
Live Your Dream
Lots of Dots
Big on Spring
Tart and Tangy
die cut blooms
A Perfect Day rub ons
One Smart Cookie
Summer picnic paper
Sassy Suzie
full of Life
For Father (maybe)

Actually, I guess there will be a lot more maybes. At least several of the things are consumable, rather than stamps.
I am going to really have to get to work if I want to take this "Stamp to Spend" challenge seriously. As you can see, I am already in the hole.

I love this mini!!!

Wow--I love the mini, but my list isn't as big as some! I am getting Essence of Love and For Father. I might also get Live Your Dream or Bloomin Beautiful and the hardware.
I really like the She's All That Set, I acutally like it better than the style it's being compared to. Those are cute, too, just not my thing. But even though I really like She's all that, I don't think I'd use it enough to justify the moolah.
All in all, wonderful catty--even the stuff I'm not getting, I like to look at!

I'm surprised no one mentioned Sassy Suzie and Full of Life. There aren't many stamps that you can put on the inside of cards so I'm always on the lookout for them. These 2 sets seem really good for that purpose.

My heart (and money) goes out to the silhouette women. I *heart* those!! I'm also very excited about the new Hodgepodge Hardware and the colored twill.

I'm thinking about the Carrousel notes, as I think they'd be great to use on scrapbook pages.

I just love those women. There isn't anything like that from SU! right now. I'm exercising restraint. I will only get She's All That, Afternoon Tea DSP, Carousel Notes, Chocolate poly twill ribbon, and the Die Cut Blooms.

Fun thread! I will be getting for sure:

Tart and Tangy
Essence of Love

I want, but not sure I can get:

Bloomin' Beautiful
Afternoon Tea DP
Polytwill Ribbon
Live Your Dream
Summer Picnic DP

I think this is the best mini we've had in a while! I love the variety of styles and subjects. I also like the variety of prices on the sets! I just need to find some stuff to sell on Ebay to make some money for stamps! LOL!
