Apparently I am really stupid or dense as I just can't figure out the last riddle. I thought of paper, but it doesn't dissolve in water...at least not for a long time. Or am I overthinking this?
Not that it matters, really, as I never win anything anyhow! Especially something that I really want and need.
I know! I took EVERY item on Spellbinder's list of "things the Platinum machine will cut" and put them in water. NOTHING dissolved. I even emailed them to see if anyone else was struggling with this last riddle. Lots of things on the list will "fly" but nothing dissolved. I never heard back. I, too, would love to have the Platinum machine in my arsenal. Time is running out. I hope we find out the answer because you have to have all 4 riddles correct to be eligible.

It's an old riddle, not one Spellbinders just made up. Google it, and you'll see that the answer is paper.

Carleneanne......I agree with you, but answered paper anyway. I figured that I wouldn't win it anyway, so it really didn't matter. If paper was that easy to get rid of we wouldn't have as much "stuff" in trash dumps.
uncballfan.......That was my first thought and I did Google it several times and several ways and came up with nothing remotely answering "paper" but maybe I didn't ask it right. But thanks for your reply.
Thanks for responding. I guess I'll go with "paper" too...even though the piece of paper I have in water (even though I tore it into smaller pieces) has not dissolved yet. Good luck to us all. That machine looks fabulous.
