Garnet, I have a question that others may also want the answer to.

When we have our cards and packages ready for Linda, do you want us to send them to her right away or wait so that they will arrive closer to her actual birthday on January 27th?

Thanks !!!

I would say wait a bit so she will receive a big batch all within the same week, close to her birthday. But, that is merely my opinion. I think that some of you may have other obligations within the next couple of weeks and would prefer to send Linda's gifts right away. That is okay too. She will be very happy in the knowledge that lots of people cared enough to send a gift.
Give Linda your address
Linda is preparing Thank You cards. One thing that she would NOT like to have is a gift with no return address. We are not making this a "Secret Sister" thing, just a birthday of blessings.

Click on her name and a small screen will pop up and you pick from there to Private Message her.
You can find their galleries and profiles this way too, it's a new feature since the last upgrade to the site.

I have all the retired marker colors, and several stamp sets that I am no longer using...none that are on the list though. Would those items be okay to send?

Edited to add:

I just went to my stamp room to see what stamp sets I have to send:

Bold Birthday
Mini bold greetings (not sure if this is the same as the one you have listed)
Fabulous flourishes
Fun corners and borders
Gift of Happiness

Wow!!! There are now 15 sets promised as gifts. Many of those were not even on our original "wish list." I am SO happy to know how generous people are.

Default Another idea..........

Another idea came in via PM (sorry I forgot which of you sent it).

SUGGESTION: You might put a few 39 cent stamps inside when you send Linda a card.

Messages are still coming in with more suggestions. It seems that lots of you have unused stamp sets on your shelves. All the ones you bought but never trimmed and mounted?? How nice that you are willing to share.

Wink VSN party is over...

Whew! I've just been to a really BIG party --- VSN. Hope you all had as much fun as I did. Linda received a few more promises of gifts while I was playing around with stamps. Take a look at the list -- top of first page.

Smile If you are still hoping to bless Linda with a birthday gift...

I'm the one to contact. I know most of you have probably read GarnetJ's request to help make a special birthday for Linda Littlepage.
GarnetJ is going out of town so I will be here to hopefully answer any questions. If you can help send any of the items that are listed in GarnetJ's "special birthday" thread please pm me and I will give you Linda's mailing address. There has been such a great response already, you are all so awesome!

Smile Thank you Nancy

Thanks for taking charge of this Nancy.

There are only a few stamp sets left on the "birthday wish list." Click on the blue Special Birthday below to see what is on the list. Of course any amount of cardstock, ribbons or prepunches would be appreciated. And please send lots of birthday cards.

While I am gone (Jan 17 thru 27) the original post cannot be updated, so be sure to tell Nancy [hotflash] and post a message if you are sending a stamp set. Otherwise, gifts might be duplicated.

By the way, the wish list grew longer as more and more sets were offered. I think we ended up with twice as many on the list as we had originally planned. Awesom!

GarnetJ or whoever is in charge, my daughter is putting together some cardstock and mulberry paper for a pkg....is there anything else she needs? I have her address already. Please PM me if you know of something.

I got a wonderful thank you card from her. She has it posted in her gallery, it's the one with the punched out yellow flowers. It's to bad she didn't post the inside, she was very creative and used a tag on the inside....I plan to CASE that idea Linda!!!!

Ribbons, fibers, embellishments, tags or other punches..... all these things would be great! (Also a few postage stamps) We were keeping track of stamp sets and ink pads so that there would not be duplication. But the other items Linda, like all of us, can use in any amount.

Do you suppose they have Splitcoast rehab clinics in Mexico.

Had an offer for mono adhesives. That is a great idea and Linda needs it. Also the refills. She also needs mini envelopes, sponges and classic ink pad reinkers (any Color).
The offers just keep coming!!
