Sure, but it takes someone with time and money to go after violator - like having an attorney write a cease and desist letter, and if necessary take them to court. It’s not as if there are trademark police.
One small craft company has two full-time employees who scan for copies. The owner said that Amazon is good about removing shops that are selling knock-offs, but the companies pop back up under different names. (Most of those are Chinese though.)
And it takes deep pockets to go to court. The ScorPal was copied and changed a bit by a large company. ScorPal took them to court but the large company had deeper pockets and ScorPal couldn’t afford to keep pursuing the suit.
As a bystander it can be interesting. Company A has trademarked items copied by B, and then B has theirs copied by C... :shock:
