Today he is digging in my trash can. I found tiny slivers of card stock on the floor! He also thinks I should come put food in his bowl every time he meows!

There's nothing to get except that were having fun discussing our goofy cats and what they do to torment us while were trying to craft!

I'd say it's under General Stamping because it's generally stuff our cats do while we're stamping or trying to stamp. For example, mine takes off with the ribbon I've set out to use on a card when I turn my back. Then I spend half an hour trying to figure out where in the heck I put it before I figure out the cat took it.

Mine makes it very hard to cut cardstock to size (aided and abetted by DH, who wasn't much help either)

LOL! My biggest fear is I will cut off his tail because I use a guillotine cutter and he sometimes won't budge! Those times I move to a different trimmer!

Hi everyone! Just found this topic (I need to start spending more time here at SCS again!) It was so much fun reading all the cat stories! I have two cats that like to be destructive, but I can't help loving them

My kitty, Daphne, is enjoying napping in her new bed that she got for her birthday a couple of weeks ago. It's actually a dog bed but she doesn't know (the kitty beds were too small). She hangs out with me in my craft room and now she's more comfortable. Love her.

Awww...Happy Birthday to your sweet kitty! My Bear is 17 and he's doing great so far. Doesn't get in too much trouble anymore...but still loves curling ribbon...I have to keep it away from him to he won't get his insides cut up.

It's so scary the harm that something so innocent can cause! I'm glad your friend's cat was ok!

Hello, sweet cat mommies,
I just found this thread. My loving Claymore went to Kitty Heaven on 04/15. We do miss him. He was 16 yrs but had congenital heart condition, kidney and thyroid problems. He also loved ribbon of any kind. In his younger years he could do a complete back flip if you waved the ribbon in a large circle near the floor then circled from waist to floor, his eyes glued on the ribbon he would just follow it in the air, graceful as could be. In his older years he liked to take rides in the laundry basket. I looped a belt through the basket handle so I could pull it like a wagon over the floor from bedroom to laundry. He would hunker down and peek through the slats, when the laundry was out he liked me to pull the basket in a circle on the floor like a merry-go-round, happy as can be to have his "spin". As congestive heart failure took over, he used to sneeze a lot, to clear his lungs. Many a cardstock or half finished card got snot bombed if I wasn't on the look out. His last few days he spent peacefully sleeping in his heated snood, keeping his eyes on us when his body finally gave out. Our loving tuxedo cat's remains are now in a tiny oak box on the fireplace mantle, sharing the family room where his happy memories remain. RIP in my sweet boy kitty.

He's on my lap today. Unusual for him but I think he's not feeling well. He got sick after eating this morning and then again after lunch. Poor baby...

A little scare this week. Tuesday morning Zekey was sitting under the kitchen table. I heard a noise and saw that she had fallen over, curled up and twitched a little. I immediately called the vet to take her in. They took blood and called me in the evening. She has a kidney infection that is messing with other systems. I picked up her antibiotic and potassium pills yesterday morning and started her on her treatment. She had several more little episodes so I think the infection has been affecting her brain.

I kick myself for not taking her to the vet sooner when she started having litter box issues. Also she has been losing weight since Christmas because she hasn't been eating much. She's 23 so I know her body will eventually slow down.

Scary for a Cat Mommy!

Hope Zekey responds well and heals completely! Cats are experts at hiding their illnesses so do not "kick" yourself - you are a great cat Mom and I am sure she is truly spoiled

Hugs and praying she is back to her normal self soon!

Three of my four are driving me crazy! It would surely be all four, if she wasn't 19 years old, LOL! They've been playing and chasing each other, reaching tall objects in a single bound, and just driving me nuts! Wonder if it's the new food? Maybe they slipped a little catnip in it, LOL. Seriously, I'm just happy they're having a good time, and thankful they get along. Love my babies!

I cringe when hearing kidney problems, so happy she's doing better!

Took Zekey back to the vet this morning because the seizures are increasing. Because the kidney chemistry is not good he thinks it will be maybe just a few more months. Meanwhile we continue with the meds she's on. She hissed at the vet and the tech for indignities performed so she still has spunk!

So very sorry to hear the news about Zekey. All you can do is keep her comfortable and give her all the love you can.

Perfect kitty box.

We just got home from vacation and my kitty is drooling all over my hand. She can't get enough rubs. Niece came over to feed and visit but it's just not the same as when mommie gets home.
