Default memory box

I haven't started yet, but , I was going to make some of the memory boxes that were on Gina K's web site for the tutorial of the week. Looks like a cute way to organize some of the millions of pictures I have. ROFL

Default wishful thinking

There are about five different projects I would like to get to:

1) finish the washer pendents I started weeks ago
2) start working on a calendar for for 2011 with my digital studio (hoping to make a calendar using photos of coworkers pets to give a Christmas gifts next year)
3) I've had request for keychains that I gave as gifts this year I need to make
//www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1370970?&cat=500&ppuser=118356
4) Sadly, I need to make sympathy cards for the Oncologist at work (veterinary), she has run out.
5) peruse the fan club gallery!!!

If I can get just one of these done it will be grand!!

I may not be stamping this weekend to give my little hands a rest from prepping for this weekend's blog hop! I tend to power stamp and when done, on the 7th day, I rest But my mind is racing w/ an idea I will be CASEing from convention and I might just make one mock-up of a card I want to mail to all my downline. If I do that, then in answer to the question, I'll be stamping one card as a mock-up of something I plan to have my assistant make in bulk for me.

I just bought some Prisma colored pencils (were on sale at Mike's) and other supplies. I'd like to play around with that technique this weekend but don't expect to actually make a card. lol

Well, I was just going to make one of these (to give to my sister-in-law to be!!!) but the instant my mom saw it, she ordered 20 more!! So that's what I'm working on this weekend The punch I used was on clearance at Michaels - if you haven't checked out the MS holiday punches yet you definitely should because they are all on clearance for incredible prices!!

Beth, those keyrings are fabulous!

Right now, I'm all tickled with the little cottage treat holder I made last night. . . . is that the kind of 3D project you're looking for, Meg?

I won't actually get to stamp until Monday when hubby goes out of town. I need to make a b-day card for my step mom and do this weeks sketch challenge. I'm going to paint the den today and hopefull the kitchen tommorrow. I'm using SU cardstock colors Chocolate Chip and Mellow Moss.

I'm hoping to make a couple of valentine's day cards...just can't get in the mood and my craft room is in the process of being moved so if I don't do them now there's no way I'll be able to do them when everything is boxed up...argggghhhh! (this is a fun thread!)

Well, just last night I has someone asked me to make her wedding thank you cards. I've never made any cards and sold them before, so I'm a bit nervous in trying to come up with something that she will like. I did look through the gallery, but I can't find any card that uses all of her colors.

I'm even more stumped over the colors she wants. I'm trying to think of a CAS using the colors turquoise, purple, and yellow, with just a touch of pink. (I want to keep it more clean and simple because I'll be making 60 of them and she doesn't want to spend a lot of money). I'm thinking that I should watch my ribbon as well due to the postage costs.

Any suggestions?

I've been cranking out valentines all weekend, and I bought the supplies for a valentine's board book I'm making my niece (she's 1)....I ordered the new monkey set from Verve because she {hearts} monkeys and I'm making a count the monkeys book for her, complete with flaps for lifting to find the hidden monkeys.

I forgot to add that the idea for these matchbooks came from a tutorial in the resource section here at SCS.

Wow! That's a lot of colors. Maybe you can do a mostly white CAS card, and then just do a different accent color on each card (like 20 turquoise, 20 purple, 20 yellow). Embossing a lot of the card front with swiss dots is an easy way to get a sweet look without the cost of embellishment (just the cost of shoulder surgery after embossing 60 cards).

I made these darling manly drawers Saturday when I was in my 3D mood. Today (which was still the weekend for me-hooray!) I spent about 4 hours on this project for my BIL (which I ended up completely loving how it turned out--isn't that great when that happens?), plus I installed photoshop elements trial version to check it out and see if I can improve the look of my photos.

Well, I made my 5 projects for my upcoming Valentine's stamp camp next weekend, got the craft room ready cleaned and organized for my guests, and got my door prizes ready. It was a busy day, glad it was a day off from work! Too bad it's a no post Sunday for me!

I made valentines and my second 6x6 page for Patter Cross' faith-based challenge. This week's word was temptation.
