So ... what do you expect when a stamper gets bored ... pics
 LOL! I got bored today and stamped a small stamp on my stamp room wall - we are reorganizing it and the stamp will be behind a cabinet in a week or two. It was the big flower from IFB stamped with Staz-on, and I colored it in with watercolor pencils. I used blender pens to blend the colors.
Ok ... so I got a little carried away ..... I liked it so much that I did the whole bathroom up there!! LOL!! I have stamped as high as I can reach, and I will go back and stamp the rest later. I have colored several in and have blended a few. I really like the look it gave. I put them together in groups of 2 or 3. I plan to put some bees around randomly and finish the flowers. I can't wait to have it done, now.
I guess that's what you get when a stamper gets bored, huh? :?
I can't wait to finish it. I think I will love it ... what do you think??
Of course, I can't wait until the stamp room (the Haven - as my dh calls it) is done, too. We are in the middle of putting cabinets and shelves in there. I keep telling myself (as I look at the mess) that it *has* to be done by Feb. 6th because I have a techniques class up there on the 7th!! LOL! I will post those when I'm done with it.
WOW!! Can you get a little closer? It looks great!
I will when I get a few more pictures. One of the lights in there is out and the camera wasn't happy with that! LOL! I will get closer on the finished product. I hope to finish it on Thursday.
What a fantastic look! (Have you picked your word stamp yet?)

it's really cute! you did it with staz-on?? keep us updated on how that holds up. do you plan to seal it with something?
Michelle
It is painted with a 'flat' paint, so it dried really quickly. It isn't a room that gets used a whole lot (when I'm up there and when I have classes, yes, but not too many showers are taken up there), so I didn't think the wear would be hard. Heck ... if it doesn't work well ... I can just paint over it. My dh said it looked pretty good without coloring in the flowers. He's right. I love that set for that very reason. It looks great no matter how you use it.
I did use Staz-on, but I think I could have used the classic pad and done just as well.
Michealangelo didn't hide the Chapel until it was finished...
Well, actually he did. He wouldn't let anyone in. When the pope came in to see, he dropped a hammer and it almost hit it on his head. The pope got really mad, but did not go back in again until he was done! LOL!
Your boredom is a very creative outlet for you!!! lol

Great job...I love stamping in rooms. I have stamped borders in my DD room (Crayon Kids) and my kitchen Toile Blossoms)! Love the look. And much easier than stencilling!
