small hijack: Also, all the Biblical angels I can think of are males! Plus, Tilda's and Edwin's wings look more like fairy wings to me. The only one with wings that look like angel wings is the newest Violin Tilda. (not complaining - I prefer fairy wings with tons of glitter)

I'm with you. I find the ones without mouths VERY creepy! I wouldn't spend my money on the "little girl" stamps when there's so much other stuff out there to buy.

When the WT challenge came up last week to use 'small child' images...I had NONE! So you can see they're not my thing either. Some are cute and I admire the coloring, but have no interest in purchasing any for myself.

I like some of the little girls, but have boys so I too am looking for more tween boy images.

Bellas I have a ton and am thinking about selling some. I really like the Tudes but have only two so far.

I am really liking the older women stamps....some I have seen are hysterical. Have you all seen My Friend Ronnie? They crack me up with the sayings you can get to go with them.

I don't see anything wrong with sending the little girl images like TGF to adult women but I guess you have to judge the women you're sending them too kwim.

Also a thought on those who like the Magnolias: Couldn't you stamp on mouths that Peachy Keen sells? I don't own any Magnolias so I don't know the sizes if Peachy Keen mouths would work or not.

Loved your link SophieLaFontaine...very cool how you drew the mouths and showed everyone how you did it. TFS

I'm almost 65 years old, and love using little girl images, especially those by Mo's Digital Pencil! I also own a few Magnolias, Phindy's, High Hopes, Eat Cake Graphics, and more! I'd love to get cards using them, too! After all, we were all little once, and most have fond memories of our own childhoods and those of our children and even grandchildren! You can combine them with funny sentiments that make them very suitable for adults. You just have to be imaginative.

I'm a mom of three boys and no girls. I love the little girl stamps. I think they can be used for lots of things, not just for little girls. It's just what you want them to be and incorporate the images for whom it is intended. I don't do these for the guys of course, but I do them for my friends, and my nieces of all ages from little to older teens. They are just fun. I grew up a tom-boy having four brothers, but I guess this is my chance to play with girly things. I wasn't a doll person at all as a little girl, and preferred playing baseball and football with the neighborhood kids. For some reason the little girl stamps now appeal to me!

Thank you Scrappintlc!

I looked up the Peachy Keen faces (http://www.peachykeenstamps.com/), and they are very nice! I think I can cut away the eyes ('cause I hate masking) on some of my Magnolias and go ahead and draw the eyes from scratch as well! I think if a Peachy Keen face would work (if it was the right size), it would be the easiest to cut away the Magnolia eyes first - they're just dots anyway.

Ooooh... I am sooooooo incredibly sleepy. I had to read and re-read what I typed here multiple times. Excuse any incoherent-ness.

Massive heads, massive black eyes, stumpy little legs. Yeh little girl cards are ok for little girls, but monster cards, well i don't know many monsters.I don't go with the trend, cutsie sits in a small corner of my crafting world.

I do that too, I try at least 15 pages and some days that's all there is....just not my thing...

haa, I never knew that. (about them being angels and speaking with their hearts) Makes sense though. I loved your tutorial on drawing mouths on the tilda's, So cute!!

I agree. I have no need for stamps with kids on them so I never buy them. Hope the trend ends soon and something else comes along to replace it.

I never would have gotten into stamping if it was not for the cute little girl stamps. Stamping never appealed to me until I saw those cute little girl images. I just love coloring them.

I am like Gillian and was a tom boy growing up, but now just love all things cute and feminine. I think everyone would be suprised how many adult women love those images. My MIL adores Precious Moments, and so this type of stamp is perfect for her. I receive cards from my friends and love the cards with little children and animals, and I am 45 years old. My daughter is 11 and she adolare TGF stamps.

I have several types of stamps I just dont care for, but I know other people love them, and really don't question why (I wouldn't want anyone to feel like they were in the minority for being different), it is in fact the differences in everyone that make the world an interesting place. Imagine paging through the gallery and all the cards being the same, I would soon tire of that.

I am in the same boat as Michelle - started to stamp again when I started viewing Debbie O's blog 2 years ago ...but really got into *stamping* and coloring when I fell in love with the Magnolia girls. Then it branched out to the Sugar Nellie, Elisabeth Bell images, TGF and so on...I love to color and these kids stamps are just too cute for me to resist - I am just sorry some think them weird. Love to color almost anything ...flowers come second but am really stuck with the kid coloring bit ... Peace everyone!

A heads up for those of you who do like the images that Mo's Digital Pencil (digi stamps) designs. She (Mo) will be teaming up with Stamping Bella with actual rubber stamps for those who are not into the digital stamping.

The debut of her stamps will be release on Friday, April 16th according to the Stamping Bella blog.

I have admired the artwork of Mo's Digital Pencil for a while now. She offers realistic looking people for both child and teen. Even some great boy images which are a rare find.

Mo also has some images that were made into stamps with Stampavie, the cute old couple holding hands (love that) and the eskimos and several others. Love her stuff.

LOL, I remember that the children's wing of my church growing up was painted with these kids, realistically sized, on the walls. Always made me cringe!

I love the look of the girls but don't think I'd use them. Coloring them in would be a lot of work for a layout (my dd does like some of those themes) and I don't think I'd send them on cards. I may have to pick one up though to color/paint it!

Same here. I used to love to look at the gallery but now that the "little kids" type cards have taken over, I don't enjoy it anymore.
