Default So many coasters - so little ideas.

While strolling through my local Mikes (dangerous, I tell ya!) I came across these packs of coasters - 20 for $1 so I bought 5 packs. Probably wasn't the best way to go considering I didn't really have a plan in place for them but then again, isn't that what we do? Hoard?
Anyway, they're similar in size, texture, etc as the coasters you'd find in Chili's, Olive Garden, etc. I bought 3 circle shapes and 2 square shapes.

Now ladies - what can I do with them?!?

Mini albums! I am on my way tomorrow to look for them. I got a new binding system and I was so looking for some. Thanks!

TY for the suggestion but I don't scrap - I know - GASP!

They were in the "$5 or less finds" section of Mike's. In my store, it's the last asile before the clearance in the way back. HTH!

I made calendars with some of mine. There is a post on my blog that shows all the pages. If you type coaster in the search bar, it should take you right to the post.

I've also made magnets and cut them with my sizzix dies for embellishments.

calendars, post-it notes holders, a box tied with ribbon on the sides (you will need 5 coasters for each), hmmm....

they make great notebook covers - and you can trim them down if you want to use them for pre-made pads of paper or use them as they are if you cut your own paper.

You can use them to cut shapes with dies (not sizzlet dies though!) in your Cuttlebug or similar system.

I used a Sizzix frame die and made picture frames for my sil at Christmas with a new picture of my two daughters in it and they loved them! You can easily make them into refrigerator magnets too!

If you have a look here - http://cceestampers.blogspot.com/search?q=coaster - the CCEE stampers had a challenge a while back that used coasters. Which should mean that there will be some cards with them in the gallery, too.

Some of the mini clipboards for Post-It notes are so cute. Here is a link to the gallery: http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...y.php?cat=6305
