Default Slit Punch to make a card to hold plastic gift cards...

I know I saw somewhere (but I have no idea where) that someone used the slit punch on the sides of a piece of cardstock to hold a gift card. Do you know what I mean? Is there a picture in a gallery? Any tips on just how to design this? I was playing around a little with the punch, but didn't really come up with anything I liked.

Thanks for any help!
