Big fan of scrapnstamp.ca and they've just released some of the Fall 09 Cuttlebug folders. I've had good service from scrap-hut.com too

Default Shopping online - Canada

Hello everyone!

I am finding that I have less and less time to head out to the store.

So I was wondering if you had any recommendations for websites, specifically ones that deliver to Canada without to horrible a shipping fee.

As always, any suggestions are appreciated!
Thank you!

I buy alot from an Ebay stores called Crafty Kitty and Coolgear 2002
good prices and selection, CF is in Tacoma Washington shipping is fast, CG2002 is in Vancouver, superfast.

Shipping is not bad in comparison to others I have found, usually in the $7 - $11 range

Talking I *heart* PWCO!

My #1 favourite online store is PaperWorksCo, which is based in Edmonton. In my opinion, the prices are *super* reasonable & shipping is also reasonable. You also accumulate 5% cashback! When I 'registered' I also received a discount code in the email for my 1st purchase!!! Not sure if she (Peggy - the owner) is still running that.

I go there to buy Cuttlebug folders, Nesties, BasicGrey, Copics etc. and they also have a couple of *adorable* lines of stamps!

The service has been *super* and always has a personal touch!!! I feel like it's a my favourite LSS!!!

A huge shout out to Sheila from Scrappin' Great Deals. Great all round selection and adding new stuff every day.

A couple of small, Canadian-based stamp companies spring right to mind:

Totally Stampalicious - fun images, stellar customer service. Had my order within 2 business days of ordering it! (if you're in Edmonton, you might even get it the following day!)

Kraftin' Kimmie - more fun images and speedy service.

I'm sure there are plenty more, but those are the one's that came to me immediately.

(and now I'll watch this thread to see where else I can spend my $$$, LOL!)

Woot! I'm lovin' hearing about all our favourite online Canadian stores!!! I know there are some Canadian-friendly stores, too, where S&H isn't so steep. I'll keep watching this thread for more of your suggestions!

Oh, and I'll merge this thread with another one with the same topic.

I've recently come across a brand spankin' new store in BC! Stamp, Paper, Glue http://www.stamppaperglue.com/ Fantastic service and growing selection. They've got some stamps from cc designs and mft. I was pleasantly pleased to see some Copic sketch markers which have been recently added! I've placed a couple of orders now and really happy with their service. They too have a points program, which I know that I'm saving up for some copics!

A lot of US companies that say they do not ship to Canada will if you email them or phone them. I have the happy option to ship to a US address bc my parent's business has a PO box at a depot in Niagara Falls. There is a $1.65 US fee per package but mail, like magazine subscriptions, is free. I still pay both taxes when bringing things over but I save on shipping and no processing fee of $5 like Can Post charges. If the online store is in the same state as the depot however, you do pay state tax. I get mag subs for less than half of what a sub to Canada would be.

It might be an idea if you and some gal pals don't live too far from the border to share the fees of having a depot accept your mail. Every couple weeks, someone goes and picks stuff up.

I highly recommend this place, too! They have the best prices for Spellbinders and it's always free shipping over $100. Their shipping is FAST!! Plus NOW they've started a points program where you save money based on how much you spend!

Scrap n' Stamp
I am having trouble with their new website. Are you? I can only click on items on the homepage, otherwise it doesn't work.

I agree, they are great!

I haven't ordered anything since they updated their website. I'm sure an email to Kate would fix things right up!

Another shout out from me for Scrapping Great Deals. Really enjoy their store!

Related news: I learned via a Julie Ebersole post (in some other thread entirely) about a Canadian stamp company called "Renaissance By Design." They're located in Cranbrook and stock papers, matching ribbons, inks, etc., in addition to their stamp designs. I've been checking out their stamps and it's only a matter of time before I buy some... Google their name to find their site.

Their shipping isn't cheap, but if you like their style (somewhat similar to a US company with very high shipping rates), it's a good opportunity to buy Canadian, avoid duties/customs/etc.

This company seems to have dropped off the face of the earth. They had a facebook page and all, but nothing has been updated since early July. They were sending free stamps to all their facebook members, I never got mine, I got an email back in June that it should be here in July, email and have not heard a word.

I did some guest designing for them in July and also haven't heard anything. She had mentioned they had internet troubles when I sent some of my images in June but didn't hear a peep from Devon (the owner) at all for the entire month. I just posted my projects on my blog and the facebook page and gave up trying to contact her *shrug*.

It's a total shame bc the stamps are awesome quality and value for dollar and the ribbon is amazing!!

OMG! They are awesome! I've only been there once - about 4 hours or so - and it was very well stocked, 'clerks' very knowledgeable and friendly. No pressure to buy, obviously interested in what they sell. if I ever get back there I will spend the day browsing. Spent like about $500. that day! guess I was in the mood to shop!?!?!? DH wanted to go to a car show that day and he figured I could shop after his show but next time he will leave me there first!!! he had to WAIT for me for once!! LOL Loving this thread!

There's a nice on-line rubber stamp company out here in BC that I've ordered lots of stamps from - great quality and service, and you can choose mounted or unmounted.
