Default Shaker boxes

What do you use to raise your shaker box? I got a sheet of the fun foam with adhesive on one side of it and found it's definitely not thick enough, at least not the stuff I got at Wal Mart.

Any suggestions on what to use? And what do you use for your see through panel?

Default Mounting Tape

I use picture frame mounting tape (it's sticky on both sides). If I need it to be thicker, I use two layers. Also, for the plastic I've used two different things. I bought plastic folders at Sam's Club for another purpose and the clear ones work great for shaker cards. The other thing I've used is the protective plastic taped to the front of my new flat screen computer monitor (I really am turning into my mother...I save everything since I never know what craft project it might be used in...)

I use double-sticky foam tape; they usually have it in the office supplies section, but I've found it in the hardware section at K-Mart for about 1/2 of what it was in the office supply area.

I use overhead transparencies for the plastic. You could probably get something similar at any office supply store.

I use double sided mounting foam too. But can you just use a double layer of the foam you bought? Would that do it?

I, too, use double sided mounting tape and use a double thickness if it's too thin. I agree you could probably double the thickness on your foam.

For the "window" I usually cut up a cello bag since I usually have some on hand. I can usually get at least four cards out of one cello bag and they are very inexpensive.

I've also seen people say you can use the clear plastic from some food containers such as a pasta box or bakery box.
