OMG! Ya'll I don't know what to say! Thank you all so very much from the bottom of my heart! I'm so touched by the warm fuzzies just pouring out of my computer from SCS! Thanks everyone for being so encouraging during this time. And I can't tell ya how much it touches my parents! My mom and dad couldn't believe it the past few days as they've gotten the cards. Mom said they have a special place that they're keeping them all.

Many thanks and {{{{{hugs}}}}} to ya'll!!!

Default Update - 12/18

My Dad wanted me to say THANK YOU again for all the cards!!! Mom has to count them again but they are well over 75. I think they took them along to the hospital yesterday. He started his first 96 hour chemo drip along with the radiation yesterday, which was also my parents 42 wedding anniversary. They were given free passes to eat hospital food - what a way to enjoy it, huh? Not sure how long he'll be getting chemo and radiation but when it's over, they'll be doing the surgery to remove the tumor.

They are with a different hospital and new doctors now since the mess up a few weeks ago and so far they have been very pleased, esp with several of the doctors. He is about 2 and 1/2 hours from home and my mom will be able to take the Veteran's shuttle there daily to see him and she won't have to drive it in bad weather. We'll be headin up some time over the weekend. He'll be coming home Fri or Sat and goes back the day after Christmas so we'll be able to spend some time at home with him. I can't wait!!!

I just talked to him a little while ago and he said so far he's feeling pretty decent, just mainly tired. His blood count was low at one point so he had to have some shots for that.

And thanks again to everyone for your concern, Pm's, cards and prayers! It really is so touching how many people have been reaching out to us!

Many big {{{{{HUGS}}}}}!
~Angie

Just now saw the thread. So sorry for your dad's diagnosis. Will remember your family in prayer and will get a card sent. Bev J.

Angie, I've adored your creations, and stopped by your blog for SO long!! I know how much your family means to you.....I can see it in your heartfelt words when you talk about them in your blog. I would love to send a card to your Daddy (and Mom too!) to help uplift them and make them smile for a moment. Please know that I am thinking of you and your parents, and will keep you all in my prayers. Stay strong, and remember....we're all here for you! Hugs to you! Pam
