You guys have such great ideas!

No 2 legged children here either. My first scrapbook was for my Grandfather. He was Citizen of the Year in our small town some time back. I scrapbooked his photos, newspaper articles, and cards and notes from friends. He absolutely loved it.

My second and current scrapbook project is for my husband. We just recently celebrated our 19th Anniversary and I'm making a 6X6 albumn with highlights from the last 20 years. It's really fun to look back and add what I remember and new comments as well.

This summer I've taken pictures of all the plants and flowers that I've grown in my gardens. I thought that would make a fun scrapbook as well.

And now I've got some great new ideas from you guys on what to do next!

you married your moms 2nd husband?

Previous posting was correct - My Dad's name is Bob, my husband's name is Bob and since I didn't change my last name, sometimes we get things addressed incorrectly - my husband says - "Oh, look, more mail for your Dad!"

although it has all been said already, i just have to chime in too. i'm trying to become a scrapbooker i took custody, so to speak, of my parents' photos when my mum died. i've been working on ideas and plan to make 6 identical albums for my siblings and i. i also just went to france with my two sisters and their families and i am planning albums for all of us. (i have very large goals that i may never achieve!)

in the meantime, i've scrapped some photos of family reunions and gatherings with friends. many seem to love them, especially my cousins! i joke with my sister that i keep my family shots and friend ones in different albums because i intend to leave the family ones to her daughter and what will she want with pages of aunt kiki's friends.

i will say though, that i have at times been made to feel, how to say, less than adequate, by other scrapbookers. i hear a lot comments like, well what will you do?? there are so many kid's pages, oh what to do about that for you? well, for one, thanks for making me feel somehow flawed. but also, i have 12 nieces and nephews, odds are, i have a picture or two of a baby.

and sadly, i have far too many photos of my cats than i really should admit in public.
