Scrapbook Stores Hartford, Ct
I am taking a trip to Hartford, Ct this coming week. If I can only go to one or two stores which would be a great one to go to. We are staying in the Ellington area visiting. Thanks for any help.

Hi, I'm in different area of CT but I know AC Moore is throughout CT. Much like Michael's, but has different stuff. I do not know about LSS in that area.

I don't know of any stores in Harftord proper, but the closest one to Ellington would be in Rocky Hill, CT called Wiggles & Giggles. I haven't been there myself but I hear its pretty good. There are others, but would require a drive of 40-50 minutes. My LSS is in Canton, CT called New England Scrapbook Co. Others are in Granby, CT the Stamp And Scrap Nest, and Westbrook, CT The Scrapbook Warehouse. (don't know if that's the exact name)Good luck, I hope you find time to visit one.

I have visited the New England Scrapboopk Co. and it is nice. My parents use to live in Torrington, so I would take Rte. 202 (I believe) and hit the scrapbook store on the way home..

I don't know how far this is from Hartford, but the Great American Stamp Store in Westport is great!

Thanks for the info, greatly appreciate it. We are visiting my husbands daughter and her family in Ellington, and am hoping to get to at least one scrapbook store while out there. We are leaving Wednesday morning via amtrak. That will be another new experience.

If you are staying in Ellington you are super close to Stafford and MUST go to the Inspiration Station...here's their web site so you can check out their hours:
The Inspiration Station - A Connecticut Scrapbook & Rubberstamp Store they are fantastic there and it is my absolute favorite store. They have gorgeous paper, Copics, rubber stamps, acrylic stamps just loads and loads of stuff. Enjoy!

I live in the Ellington, Ct. area and my favorite stamp/scrap stores are Inspiration Station in Stafford Springs, Ct. (next town over from Ellington which is closed on Wed.) and Stamp and Scrapnest in Simsbury, Ct. which is approximately a half hour away from Ellington (pretty sure closed on Sunday). You won't be disappointed with either of these stores. Very friendly staff and lots of great things to buy. Wonderful assortment of stamps and paper.

Love Wiggles and Giggles! They have loads for scrapping, lots of punches, spellbinders, sizzix, paper, lots of paper and copics! It is in Rocky Hill about 20 min from Ellington, you won't be disappointed!
