Default Scrapbook/stamping donations

Anyone know where you can donate your scrapbook/stamping stuff & get a receipt for the tax write off like at goodwill? I was thinking some of my old stuff I would donate if it was a place that would put it to use & allow me to write it off on my taxes. Would the Ronald McDonald houses give you a receipt?

Here in Memphis you can donate your stuff to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Check you local hospitals to see if any of them have a scrapbooking room like St. Jude does.

What about shelters like "Battered Women and Abused Children"? Surely they would give you a receipt.

There is a thread on the "announcement" board about Operation Scrapbook.

Any donation to your local schools is tax deductable! I just write up a quick letter detailing what I'm giving. I have them sign it along with their 501c/503c number.

Works great and is convenient too. I usually give the items to the younger grades, K-4.

Great idea...thanks for that link! I have a bag full of stuff I've been trying to find a home for...stickers and die cuts and paper that are not my style...I'm sure they'll suit someone else just fine though!
