scanning problems HEEELLLPPPP!!!

i can scan into my computer but scs tells me my file was ll wrong can anybody help me please i have a digital camera but like the look of scanned better. TIA

Did you check to be sure you saved the scanned version as a jpeg?

what in the world is a jpeg :? :? i seriously need some help. so very confused i may just have to stick to my digital camera :P

I am not sure, but I believe that is some sort of file. anybody else?

Yes, .jpeg is a type of file extension. Like if you save a Word document it will have the extension of .doc or an Adobe Acrobat file will be .pdf. We you go to save the pictures under the box where you name the file is another box. Click on that arrow and you will see .jpeg. I hope this helps.

JPEG (filename.jpg) is a type of image file. Because it "sees" more colors clearly than other types of image files, JPGs can get to be pretty big.

When you scan your picture in and it come up for you to save it, type the file name. Right after the file name add .jpg (yes, you need the period). If there's a second field below the "save as" field, click the down arrow and select JPG.
