Question SAB and Hostess Sets

During Sale-A-bration, I understand that you get a free stamp set with every $50 you spend. But if you spend say, between $150-$300, do you also get the free hostess set too?

You got it - which is exactly why I'm having a party tomorrow! You can't beat all the free stuff you get by hosting a party during SAB. I can't wait!!

Yes you still get all the hostess benefits - including the free product and hostess sets. The free product just doesn't go towards earning a saleabration set. So, a $300 party actualy earns you 7 saleabration sets because you get an extra one for a $300 party, plus the hostess sets, plus the free products....can't beat that

I should have said a $300 order gets 7 sets as is qualifies as a $300 party

Are you hosting a party or just ordering? I would, if I were just ordering, make it known that I consider this a book party. This way you will for sure get your hostess gift.

yes! if your order is going to be $150 or more you should just 'be the hostess'

get all the hostess benefits yourself...

Just had a customer throw herself a party and she spent 317.00 so she got 35.00 in free merchandise and she ended up with a total of 7 sets. She did get a free set based on the 35.00 free stuff with the other 17.00 it moved her up another 50.00......

Actually, I think she got the 7th set because the party total was over 300, I'm pretty sure that the free merchandise doesn't count towards a free set - or am I interpreting that wrong?

I don't think she would have received it at 17.00 over. The other reason is it asked for the SAB sets before her free items and then requested another SAB set, after entering the free. Having a big party for yourself has it's perks I guess. I could be wrong I am not sure of the over 300.00 mark item as I am just a Hobby Demo.

Hi Ladies! Here's the clarification for "Hostess" Benefits during Sale-A-Bration.

As a customer: For every $50 purchase customers make, the customer will receive a free Sale-A-Bration product. (Customer's choice)

As a Hostess: In addition to regular hostess benefits, hostesses will receive a free Sale-A-Bration stamp set for workshops that reach $300 or more.

Recruits: Anyone who joins as a demonstrator during Sale-A-Bration can choose any stamp set--a value of up to $47.95--from the current catalog.

If you are a customer who submits a $300+ order on your own, you will receive 6 SABs of your choice ($50 x 6). You will also receive an additional SAB choice for being a Workshop of $300 or more. Example ... a person who orders $301 merchandise will receive 6+1 SAB choices.

Hope that helps!

Here is the Canadian info for those interested in Canada ...

As a customer: For every $70 purchase customers make, the customer will receive a free Sale-A-Bration product. (Customer's choice)

As a Hostess: In addition to regular hostess benefits, hostesses will receive a free Sale-A-Bration stamp set for workshops that reach $400 or more.

Recruits: Anyone who joins as a demonstrator during Sale-A-Bration can choose any stamp set--a value of up to $60.95--from the current catalog. Also, there is a 20% off special on the starter kit right now (For Canadians that means the kit is $208 instead of $260)!

It doesn't quite translate to as much for Canadians ... a $400 isn't quite enough for 6 sets, but it is still a great deal!

Hope that helps (and thanks for posting the original info, so I could just copy it! )

Just to clarify about the US option ....
US Demo Kits are on sale for a 20% savings ... equalling $159. The original /everyday US cost is $199. The total value of the US Demo Kit is $330. I have seen others errantly post the value at $400, but that figure is not accurate. Current SU information on our Promotional Brochure/Flyer from Stampin' Up! lists the US value at $330. However, IMO ... that's one awesome value ... no matter what original cost one is looking at.
