Rubber stamps/images for silk painting
Anybody else tried using rubber stamp images for Serti method of silk painting?
The serti method is using gutta to act as a "resist". That is, you set up the outline like you would a coloring book and then color in with silk paint. Silk paints and dyes flow until something stops them, so those barriers are important. Well, who knew that the outlines of many rubber stamps (not those detailed ones) work really well. It's great to get the image down, as the fun part (as any kid will tell you) is coloring.
