On the Road With Amuse Studio
I'm soooooo exited to be signed up for Amuse on the Road. Is anyone else signed up for one of these? I'm going to the one in Minneapolis. The price was great and i get a free stamp set. Well, it is only three hours for $37.00 but it still was affordable for me. We go to a Festival near Minneapolis and this coincides with that. I've never gone to anything like this. We'll just stay at the hotel the workshop is held in....fun, fun, fun!

It's great to see all of your enthusiasm!!! I'll be going to Ann Arbor in a couple of weeks ~ I'm looking forward to it .
It's a couple of hours away and since it's in the evening I think I may just stay at the hotel that night, too.
If you're traveling for something else anyway, don't forget to bring "a basic tool kit consisting of detail scissors, ruler, pencil and the adhesive of your choice and any other paper-crafting supplies you can't stamp without!" I know if I were traveling anywhere else, there's a good chance I'd forget that and I'd miss my ATG, LOL!
I saw your location -- do you live in the La Crescent area? My DH is from MN and it's always the big event driving across Ol' Miss. Exactly at the state line, he rolls down his window and says, "Ahhh. . . just smell that fresh Minnesota air!!" Yep - every single time. It started a tradition though - on road trips we do that for every state now. Yep, nerds. ;^) I think my daughter still loves it though! Traditions are traditions, right?!
I can't wait to hear what you think of On the Road!!! I'm sure you'll have a blast!
Don't mean to hijack this thread but I PMd you on another thread and await your response. Maybe you are like me and don't notice when you have a message.
Great to see a thread regarding the On the Road Workshops with a|muse studio! I am going to the Charlotte, NC event and can not wait! I actually registered for it before becoming an a|muse studio consultant.
The event will be a great resource and introduction to a|muse studio. Hope to see more people sign up!

I think this sounds like fun and would have definitely wanted to if there was one close to me. I only have one Amuse stamp (the world's cutest anchor) but love their overall style.

I've been thinking about the one in Chicago. We'll see. Allistamps, where do you live? I went to school in Winona, and think you might be close.
There isn't one anywhere near CO this go round, but when they get close, you bet I'm going!! A Muse Studio's owner, Linda, will be at some of them, and I think SCS's famous Julie Ebersole will be at some. Talk about stamping royalty! I'd be thrilled to meet them!!
Oh, I sure wish they were coming near me! I would love to do this! You are going to have a blast--Julie is such a creative spirit and I love learning from her online--I can't imagine how cool she is in person! Please keep us posted on how it is!

We went to Washington State a year ago in June and I made sure when we got to Seattle that I tracked down the Amuse shop. I got some cute sentiments, (actually bought two of the same one by accident) a chocolate stamp and that's about it. I love my "Life is Good" and "Don't Forget to Have a Little Fun Today" stamps....and also "Have a Groovy Day"!
I also stummbled on Rubber Soul in Poulsbo. The owner was so sweet and helpful and gave me free goodies because I bought so much!

I'm doing Richmond, VA. And I confess...it's just cuz my idol and mentor, JulieHRR, will be there. I haven't stamped, other than to use stamps in art journals, etc, in over a year. Almost gave every stamp and supply away to the landfill in January AFTER I moved all of it 650 miles...ugh.
You all are so lucky!! You're going to have so much fun. I wish I could go, but the one closest to me is a bit far away in Georgia, and most importantly it's scheduled for 3 days before my due date! So unless you don't mind possibly delivering a baby at the event, I will have to wait until next year! ;)
I am going to Charlotte! Making the trip from Texas to see a good friend/A-Muse consultant! I will be ordering my first ever A-Muse stamps this week while some are on sale!!!

awww... Monica- I had no clue you were expecting! congrats!
I bet they will do one in Orlando sometime because I bet Julie can't resist a trip to Disneyworld, LOL! I'm hoping she's a big Disney fan then she can come to Disneyland too, ha ha!

Oh, that is a great point about Disney World, lol! Seriously though there really is a lot to do in Orlando, it would be a fun place to have an On The Road event. We need to get a petition going for Florida and California events next year! ;)

I think Julie is a big Disney fan -- she was at Disney World this summer.
I just went to the one in Philly this week and it was a BLAST. I loved meeting Linda and Heather (Cullen, the Chief Creative Officer and the creative force behind many of the beautiful pictures in the catalog!)

Did you go Nancy? I want to hear all about what I missed.
I did not Lorien :*( . This is what comes of trying to plan too far ahead!! You just never know what's going to develop. I was bummed to say the least.
I will tell you that Linda Hartwich asked at this and other events if those attending were free to get together post-event ~ what a cool opportunity! Yeah, that made missing it even tougher.
Sorry you couldn't make it either. Have you joined? *nudge nudge* ;) ;)
