Yes I agree that the Stampin Up clearance rack is great for ribbons. I just found a pretty gold ribbon for $3 there. It’s good to be able to coordinate with your papers, so a ribbon share is another great idea. Wish I lived closer

You can also color white ribbon with alcohol markers. I like to buy my ribbon at Hobby Lobby or JoAnn Fabrics. I bring paper samples with me to the stores.

I've seen some of the SU demonstrators use white ribbon with gold or silver edging and use their markets to color them. You might also be able to use the markers and dot the ribbon with the markers.

Default You can also stamp on some ribbon

When you find a type of ribbon that’s the width and weight you like, try the marker coloring, the ink dying, and also stamping on it. A smooth finish ribbon may let you do all three. If you find all those qualities, buy a giant size roll in white to get a “bulk” price and you can make it any color or stamp it with polka dots, floral designs, etc.

Default From Stampin’Up!

Stampin’Up! creaats Lots of ribbon and other embellishments that go perfect with their cardstock colors. I and a lot of demonstrators offer shares of ribbon when the new catalogs come out. That way you can get smaller amounts of every ribbon.

I used to buy ribbon everywhere I went and wound up with a stash I will never use up and mostly they never matched or went with the cards I made. Since then I have stopped completely and only buy white gauze ribbon in various widths and it is SUPER easy to lay it down, put a copic marker on it and pull it through under the marker to the end of whatever length I need. No waste and perfect match to anything I want a ribbon on.

I buy quite a bit of white ribbon and color it with my reinkers or markers. Matches any color cardstock you have!
