Default Ribbon tutorials

Does anyone have any links that will show how to tie bows with ribbon. I like to use ribbon on my cards but I don't know how to tie a pretty bow and really need some help. Thanks in advance!

Here's a link to a previous discussion that I saved in my favourites:
Tips for Tying Ribbon Knots by scoopy at Splitcoaststampers

but my advice is to get yourself a Bow Easy - a little plastic thingy that is fabulous for tying your bows ... I always had great problems until I got one and just love it!

This is not really "tying" but it makes a perfect bow every time!

I think the easiest way is to do the bow from a separate piece of ribbon. I got lots of compliments for my bow on this card:

CCC10 Holly Border by susanbri - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

I attached the flat ribbon to the card with Sookwang tape (also called Scor Tape). Then I took a separate length of ribbon and did a "bunny ears" bow which is so simple and so quick, and always turns out well. Here's a one minute You Tube video to show you how to do it:

YouTube - Bow Tying Video

I then attach the bow to the flat strip of ribbon with a small piece of the Sookwang tape. If you want the flat strip of ribbon to look sort of scrunched under the bow (as if you'd tied the bow with it), just slightly pleat it up and stick it down that way with the tape.

I love my Bow Easy. It ties the best pretty bows. It's inexpensive and easy to use. I am not affiliated with them, just a fan of the product. If you go to Notime to stamp Sharon carries them along with some of the most gorgeous ribbons to use on them!

I've done three different tutorials on three different types of bows! Here's my YouTube link: http://www.youtube.com/my_videos?feature=mhum

Here is how I tie almost all of my knots and bows. It's also how I tied the knot on this card. I LOVE doing all things tied like that!
