Question re: cloth journals from Target $ spot...

Has anyone purchased and stamped the cloth covered journals and address books from the dollar spot yet?? They're actually not $1...they're $2.50, but in the same area. Looks like the fabric may bleed, but before I ruin one, I wanted to know if someone already did theirs.
I think the red one might look cool stamped in white with the paisley from our gift set!

Thanks in advance!!!

I picked up two of the Cool Caribbean ones. I was going to stamp something and adhere it to the cover, but I didn't think of actually stamping ON it - cool idea! (See? THIS is why I spend so much time here.) I probably won't get to it too soon though. Let me know if you try it.

Default tried it...

adhering something might be better. I embossed the paisley in white and colored it in with regular markers...it worked fine for inside the lines, but the instant I touched the Rose Red in the center of the flower, it bled - profusely...LOL So if you want to color something in, you'll have to emboss it. But be warned, embossing ain't no easy task....LOL The fibers stick up with the EP on it, and it does kind of melt when you heat it, but it's sorta messy looking. Here's my sample. :o)
