Question Quick Cards magazine?

Does anyone get this magazine? Looking for opinions on level and quality of cards/projects.

Thanks!

I just got a subscription invitation. I've never heard of this magazine. They wanted $50 for 13 issues. I thought that was outrageous so I threw it out.

Well, if this is the magazine I am thinking of, it's a UK magazine that has a $10 or $11 cover price at Barnes and Noble.

I've never heard of it, but maybe it includes paper or stamps with it to use to make those quick cards? Just a thought...

If this is the English Quick Cards, its at the lower skill type level of the bunch. It does often have some freebies, but the quality is poor. The paper is typical shiny magazine type paper- never used them when I bought it a couple of years ago. I dropped it because of the quality, and the projects were very, very basic. Pinterest or the galleries here have much better projects for inspiration, and they're free!

I got the same offer. I had never heard of them either. From the website it looks like the freebie this month is a Kaisercraft 6 x 6 pad. If that is the type of freebies they always send that makes the $3.85 cost per issue much more attractive.

I think I'll make a stop at our local Barnes & Noble to check it out. I was worried that the projects would be more basic than I am wanting. It's hard to beat the great tutorials and the gallery here for inspiration.

In Australia, this magazine is very expensive, I didn't think it was worth it, but that's just my opinion. I like to buy some craft supplies instead.

Ladies, also watch out if you go for subscriptions for UK magazines, I often see a note in them regarding the freebies only being available to UK subscribers! I guess its something to do with the weight for shipping.

I bought a copy at Joannes. It has some cute cards but I really didn't care much for it. The measurements are in cm. I'm sure I could figure it out but haven't been in the mood. I still like Cardmaker magazine much better.
