Question Questions for SU Demo's

I am considering signing up but still on the fence.

1) What is the minimum to place an order?
2) How is the order shipped to you? (I work full-time so no one is home during the day)
3) How do you accept orders paid with a charge card?

Thanks for your help!

1) $300/quarter (so every 3 months)

2) UPS, but you don't have to sign for it, they're allowed to leave it.

3) SU is going to be processing credit cards for it's demos soon. This year some time. Otherwise lots of peeps use ProPay or Paypal or the Discovery service.

there is no minimum order but there is a minimum shipping charge if your order is less than $39.95 it's $3.95 no matter what the total under that amount is...anything over that is just the 10% shipping

shipments are made through UPS so they are trackable...

we will be able to accept charge cards in the near future directly through SU! at no cost to us...but for now you have to use a third party vendor to get the payments...

1. Sorry I read that wrong.. there is no minimum per order, but to stay active you have to sell/buy $300 per quarter, which is every three months. That's without your discount applied, so it's actually $240 plus shipping and tax.

2. SU! ships orders by UPS. I work during the day too, my Mr. Brown just leaves it on the porch.

3. Some people have a 3rd party to accept credit cards. SU! announced that soon it will allow customers to pay with credit cards, but I really don't know much about that yet (I just haven't had the time to read about it). Right now I accept credit cards through paypal. You have to pay a fee... but I am ok with that.

HTH! And good luck! I love being a demo!!!

Debbie,

Don't stay on the fence too long. This is a great time to join as Stampin' Up! is offering a great incentive during Sale-a-bration. The Starter Kit which is a good deal at $199, is on sale for $159 until March 17th. AND, you also receive your choice of any stamp set in the current catalog up to $47.95 in value. It really doesn't get any better than that. Many gals sign up just to receive the Starter Kit and then make the decision whether or not they wish to actually be an active demonstrator. Good luck with your decision! We're all here for you if you need us!

It is easier than you think to be a demo. My daughters and I combine our purchases and between the three of us it's easy to make the $300 quarterly minimum. But I have been able to earn money each month because of two very loyal groups of ladies who meet with me regularly. I didn't want to do workshops either, but now I look forward to stamping with these ladies who have become my friends. Because of the special this month, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain by signing up!
If you 'd like to pm me I'd be happy to answer any questions that you have.

You can have your order sent anywhere, so if you don't feel comfortable having your orders sent to your home while you're at work, just have them sent to your work address.
