Smile Questions about becoming new SU Demo

I'm looking in the back of the new SU and thinking about becoming a new SU demo for discount purposes but I have a couple questions?

1.) How flexible is SU about letting you select which stamp sets, card stock, ink pads you get?

2.) What if I already own the stampin' pastels?

3.) I figure my local demo could use the additional business supplies

Thanks for any help you can provide.

You can select the stamp sets, cardstock and inks. The pastels, versamark, scrub, scissors (maybe a few more - I am going on memory) can't be changed out.

Is there a dollar amount per stamp set? Looking at the pictures that are a couple that would be in the lower price range.

Yes. You can swap out a stamp set for something else of equal or lesser value. So if you want to switch out Itty Bitty Backgrounds, you can get something else that is $12.95 or less. I am signing up as a demo in February and have been picking my demos brains about this!

Hi, I am a demo and yes you can switch out the stamp sets for one that is of equal or lesser value, as for the scrub, pastels etc they do not allow you to change them out. You will see on the form that your upline/demo will give you to fill out in order to become a SU demo that it has several sections, one listing what yu have to get and cannot be switched for different items and then the section where you can swap out ink colors and stamp sets for others, that is what I did for certain ones. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

As others have pointed out, you can swap out stamp sets for equal or less value, but only on a 1:1 basis (ie you can swap a $54.95 kit set for say 2 $12.95 sets) you can also to some extent swap put the paper and ink pads. As for the other items, it is always go to have extras that you can use strictly for demonstration purposes, as extras for classes or to save as door prizes for your events.

BTW, February 1 will be a prime date to consider joining-during Sale-A-Bration, new recruits get to choose an additional stamp set for their kits for FREE!
